I saw a rumour we were getting Taylor before June 30th too so perhaps releasing Lamar is a move in that direction.

Weird move for him though… Dogs forward pack has way more depth, but I guess he had fallen down the pecking order here. I think he's still a pretty good chance to carve out a first grade career. I rate him.

He was certainly talked up coming down from Keebra Park, but like BMM has failed to kick on and develop into that tackle busting backrower we desperately need. If he has been released, good luck to him, I hope it means we have a better shot at signing Elijah Taylor.

When I saw breaking news in the contract section I was interested but I think Milky sums up my reaction to this. Guys like him come and go.

Lot of these blokes look the good through being much bigger than other kids they are playing against. Once they are up against seasoned pros, they start to get found out. Seve was playing Qld cup televised on fox today, and didn't look a class above that grade.
