Brent Kite possibly leaving Manly

Don't be so hard on yourself supercoach! Reddy was coming off quite a severe injury when we bought him. He has the talent, it is more a matter of whether he can get back to where he was prior to injury.

On the other hand Kite has already proven that he can come back as strong. I am cautious because of the number of injuries he has had but believe he is worth a shot.

Many of you seem to be bracketing Kite with the likes of Bell, Cashmere and Pettybourne - this is nuts! The guy is an Australian, SOO and Premiership winning prop! Please WT sign him up asap.

Come now Flip - he'll never be Ray "the Cashman" Cashmere

Don't put the Cashman down he put his hand up when the Tigers needed some help ….. tried his best !

Just a joke Snake. I love the Cashman!

Could say both Kite and Cashy are long-serving veterans

THE mail is getting stronger that Brent Kite will leave Manly after this season for Wests Tigers. The Sea Eagles are battling salary cap issues.

not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but supposedly Brent Kite's wife has recently bought a shop in Balmain.

I was told by a Bulldogs official today that we have signed Kite, it will be announced when Manly are eliminated from Semis or after GF whichever is 1st. The guy is usually spot-on with his info.

I hear the deal is just about deal. He will be a big loss for Manly.

The club would love to see Manly get knocked out so they can make the Kite deal public, it will get peoples minds off Sheens and 2012\. Will be a good distraction and get the focus back on 2013 rather than 2012\. Although Iam probably the no1 ticket holder in the anti Sheens campaign, its probably time to move on as it seems nothing is going to happen

We also apparently had it in the bag with Lewis and he ended up with the Sharks. Not holding my breath but i don't mind the idea of a quality prop coming in to help out Wood's and Source. Hope he can help our 20's get to the next level so they can make the transition smoother.

?

Lewis was never in the bag. Sharks were favourites to sign him all along.

We do need a player of his work ethic, big time. He will be an upgrade on Cashmere…obviously, and for that it's a good move if it goes through.

Yep he will be a great signing.

He is in the top 10 or so props going around. Will be a tremendous partner to galloway and woods and take the load off them.

Props: Galloway, Kite, Woods
Backrow: Blair, Fulton, BMM, Pettybourne, Sironen

Actually has a bit of starch to it if used RIGHT

I think that Anasta will be a great player for us in the next few years. Great long kicking game and a great passing game: two things that have been sadly lacking in our side.

I am also hoping young Santi from the NYC gets a call up in the near future, he looks like a real goer from the little that I have seen of him.
