The Wests Tigers have signed Bulldogs winger Brent Naden effective immediately with the flyer named to possibly take on his old club on Friday night.

Just a day after Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett announced his resignation, Naden has linked with the joint venture until at least the end of the 2023 season and has been included in the reserves under Michael Maguire.

Naden, 26, gained a release from the final year of his contract on Tuesday after he joined the Belmore club this season following a three-year stint at the Panthers.

We clearing the cap for the dogs to sign top players. We keep buying the left overs from other clubs and that’s why we can’t attract players
No Mate,

we are n the middle of a injury crisis and Centre is a particular problem for us.

Naden is OK and an astute pick up.

Great that there were no leaks as well.

Wests Tigers are delighted to welcome Brent Naden to club after he was today released from his contract by Canterbury.

The 26 year old will play with the Wests Tigers this season and in 2023.
Coach Michael Maguire says Naden is a welcome addition to the club, “Brent is a quality player and will be a welcome addition to the group of players we already have at the club.”

It’s exciting for Brent and for our playing group.”

CEO Justin Pascoe also welcomes Naden to the club, "It's great to have Brent on board. I would like to welcome him to the club and I'm sure he'll bring some added experience to our backline."
Brent has been included in the squad to play Canterbury on Friday night at Leichhardt Oval.

He is literally heads and shoulders above most our top 30 outside backs - And on par with the others....
And he's fit to play - Right now!!

This is a good thing...
He's not our here to be the best outside back we have - But he'll certainly be better than the ones we have atm.
Exactly. He's a damn sight better than Gildart and Garner and the Bulldogs are covering some of his wage. It's a good signing given our current centre stocks.

Lol look at the top players they already have. They are coming last.

We fix a problem area while they chip in some cash. We have to think of ourselves not other teams.

Pretty funny plays against the dogs this week. Must hate them.

Guessing he will play fullback.
