Bring back Sheens!!

I was a big Sheens supporter back in the day but towards the end, even I supported his sacking. His ideas were stale, the players were running the club and we're STILL suffering from his tenure. I would stop following the tigers if he came back in any form. The fact that the Kiwis are now ranked number 1 on his watch as Aussie coach speaks volumes.

I think Potter was given a rough trot but here we are with Taylor now. No use talking about "what if's." Sure, we've had a rough year but I think I'll reserve my judgement on Taylor till this time next year. By this time next year we'll start buying players and we'll know what direction he's heading.

Instead of riding on the emotions of most on here, I'll play the "let's wait and see" game till this time next year.

Mate seeing the players potter re-signed and released plus his miss management of our cap showed he had no idea what he was doing.

No, do not bring back Sheens.
He had his time at the club.
We all have moved on.
Jason Taylor has only had this season, whilst it's not what we hoped for / wanted,at worst give him another season.
Then clear, emotionless judgements can be made.

I had no idea that Potter had control of retention and recruitment for at least his second year, let alone anything to do with the salary cap. In fact from all reports, it was very clear that he had no say at all.

Potter couldn't even hire and fire his own coaching staff, let alone the players.
…... and could somebody please tell 'lathami' that Tim Sheens has stolen his login details

Mate! Potter had no authority to buy anyone or release anyone.

I don't mind people being blasted if it is their fault but wake up please and blame the right people.

As for Lathami - Sheens is most of the problem we are in.
Name calling gives you no credit or respectability.
You are part of this Forum I believe - so I guess that makes you a loser as well.

Does It???

I think Potter was involved in the worst recruitment and retention decision I have seen this club make in the Richards/Koro debacle.

In stating that Potter always came across as having some class and having some idea with regards to game plans. JT appears to have no class and no idea.

Sheens was a great coach but he lost it. I don't know if he just didn't care or he had been here too long but he had to go.

My Mate Sjeensy can come back for Team list Tuesday …bring the Commodore 64 with him...

Agree potter came to club at a time of piss poor administration. And Taylor has it much better st present. But I still strongly feel he was not the right man for the job and reckon it's incorrect to say he had no input in the mess created at his time of head coach. I also note Taylor remains to be seen but I'm giving him until next year .

I must admit I miss Sheensie.

We always had some plays or moves going that no one else had.

Since then its been pretty much five hit ups bomb.

Sheens could coach. We had some attacking plays when he was here. I think his main problems were team selections. He just couldn't get that right.

You think wrongly ST. Potter stated in an interview that he did not want Koro to go, though his defensive and attitude problems were keeping out of the top grade under him. Had he continued with his visa bs and turning up late for training etc down south, he would still be running around in state cup matches

You might be right but I doubt it. I think Potter bought Richards back and it was a mistake.

Potter was a dead man walking from day one as WT coach….was handed a poison chalice

In hindsight Potter was probably only appointed because he had a very submissive personality and he could be easily controlled. He probably got his lunch money taken every day when he was a kid.
