"I thank the 6500 fans for coming out. They are die-hard fans. I scratch my head wondering what more we can do to attract a crowd at Campbelltown Sports Stadium,'' CEO Grant Mayer said.
>
Mayer then announced that $10 tickets would be made available for the Wests Tigers’ next home match at Campbelltown against Brisbane in Round 11 on Saturday, May 24\. The match marks the 15th anniversary of the club’s first premiership match in 2000.

**"Come sit anywhere you like,"** he said.
>
"It is a last throw of the dice for Campbelltown to come and show they support their club. Then, we will have to reassess whether we continue to run games here at a loss.

I am going to turn up with an AMF coupon for $8.50 where I get two games, shoe hire, hot dog, fries and a coke from the 90's and see if they honour it

Butthurt much?

Think of it as a means to an end - If a couple of members get new neighbours for one night, and it helps generate sales and bump the crowd up then so be it.

Bugger, I was gunna arrive early and sit "where I liked" …...

......namely in knuckles $1000pa seat.

Two words!
Campbeltown Stadium.
You could play the Harlem globetrotters versus Manchester United and still hear the crickets in the background. Personally I like the stadium, it just doesn't attract the fans. Shame considering it is such a great stadium

I have been to Campbelltown stadium when its full on many occasions around 2005 and also 2010 and the crowds were very loud.Im sure this noise and excitement can be refound aswell at Leichhardt hopefully.

Maybe you should do it anyway Ink

You and Knuckles could have a wrestling match along the line of Gyngell and Packer and attract a few thousand more fans

Just checking some facts. Round 11, 2014 has had the biggest Day 1 ticket sales in 5 years at CSS. @Wests_Tigers fans = great support

He hasn't said how many sold, but at least it is a positive.

Knowing the wt and the NRL- that stat is most likely bs. They did the same for the Anzac test and the leichardt game.
