Brooks: What exactly has gone wrong?

I’ve given up on brooks . Honestly one of our worst players. He needs to go. We will never make semis with him there. The only reason benji gets picked is because our halves our so bad. Our 6 and 7 is our biggest issue. If we don’t have atleast one new half for next year I put us down for wooden spoon.

I remember he put up his standard last tackle bomb three times while AD was in the bin. Any other half would have found touch to run down the clock but not our special little muppet. Footballing brain of a banana.

We didn't have one tackle in their 20 in 80 mins. Our forwards were smashed and all we can do is call for the halves to be sacked. Finger in dyke.

Brooks has regressed badly, but so has our attack in general. The one out game and lack of dynamic forwards mean we are currently running into well set defensive lines.

His only strength is his defence now

Good if he is a bench prop ...not good if he is your supposed play maker


And I know people are probably sick of hearing this ..but if he has lost that much speed we can't keep him anymore

When has Brooks ever had a decent forward pack to play behind? Never!!! Marshall also suffocates this team. Either this team is Marshall’s to control or Brooks!! Personally, Brooks has gone backwards ever since he was dropped. Doesn’t look interested in playing whatever game plan has been constructed ( I say game plan very loosely as I struggle to see what game plan we play towards every week). Luckily his defence is still okay but only just.
I think the club needs to get the forward pack correct and everything else will sort itself out.

Ancient history. He has the football brains of a gnat. He put up three uncontested bombs while we had a player in the bin. He should have kicked out into the corners to force scrums and wind down the clock. Dumbest half in the comp. Benji currently is not far behind. They both need to go.
