Disappointed with his performance tonight. I really felt if he stepped up we could have snatched victory. Maybe I am just expecting too much from him?

This is a problem Brooks was non existent tonight, it is about time to play footy step up or step aside .

Our 5th tackle kicking options are terrible, Brooks as the no7 should be demanding the ball and doing most of the kicking but at present everyone is having a crack and it usually a bad crack.

As for the rest of his game, I think he is so much better than he was a month ago. The kids did not cost us the game tonight

I thought that when he ran the ball he looked good. He just needed a platform to run behind. The forwards lack of aggression really hampers him.

Overall kicking game was miles ahead of other weeks. the ball found space and got a bounce, the chase behind was average. need kicks close to the line to get us repeat sets though. Brooks, Moses and Cherrington all failed here

He was very quite tonight. A very disappointing performance from our halfback. I expect a lot more from him. I wonder if he's carrying an injury? My hat goes off to Kevin. Well done young man. He never stopped trying.

Our issues tonight had nothing to do with our halves other then perhaps they didn't spend enough time yelling at our forwards to get up quicker in defence. Brooks was 3rd in try assists, equal 4th in Line break assists and had scored what 7 tries this year. He is not the problem. The problem is our forwards not getting off the line quick enough in defence and our right side leaking breaks and points in defence

It seemed to me that Manly gifted us many opportunities throughout the game but apart from one run by Brooks at slow old Manly forwards, Moses was the only half trying to win us that game.

He certainly sometimes still appears to get lost in games from time to time

And he just can't do that , especially when Farah isn't there

Moses and Brooks can't seem to get the balance right. Moses stepped up and took on a lot more responsibility last night and Brooks as a result was hidden. I feel like these two guys aren't getting enough coaching tbh.

His defensive reads were bad, that last Manly try… DCE was just salivating, waiting for Brooks to attack the gap, putting Symonds through the gap untouched. Was he half trying for an intercept (which he is fond of)?

Attack was... average. I think 5th tackle options are ordinary across the team, Cherrington with a custard grubber and a horrible face-ball forward to Ava, should have learned from last week, somehow we got a crusher penalty out of it. Moses kicking options were crap also... he seems to only find success with chip kicks.

But we did score 20 and that should be enough to win you a majority of games, if you are fair dinkum.

Bang on Boon….

I couldnt believe how are defense barely moved up and blokes that dont even run onto the ballie Mateo were given so much time to make gains.

It was pathetically bad.
