Bryce Gibbs' reception

I wont be there but ill be booing the sharks from home and Gibbs is a shark.

I would like to point out though i would never sledge him and on a lesser note when the sharks play any other team ill be cheering for him.

His career, his games for us, his performance mean nothing to me until the final whistle blows, than he is a old club stalwart again.

Until that time I will be cheering every time he drops it, every time he gets smashed and every penalty he gives away

Booing Bryce Gibbs will be greatly disrespectful. Its not his fault he is not with us. I will be applauding him.

Two guys however I found very difficult to cheer for when they abandoned us were Scott PRINCE and Luke ODONNELL.

depends on the hit HT. if its a matai hit i will hate him forever after!

Matai hits are double edges sword.

Hit him back and he gets up slowly looking like he's about to cry.

Wouldn't wish that on Bryce though, unless he puts a cheap shot on Blair.

gibbs isnt like a prince or teo who imo did the wrong thing by the club. or a john morris who i was happy to see leave

i would never boo him unless he did something illegal to one of our players

the bloke still bleeds black and white (with a bit of gold) and always gave his all for the club, i genuinely hope he has best season ever and leads the sharks to the finals.

how do you boo a guy with a wests tigers premiers 05 tattoo. it dont get it. they will be brothers for life. after the game they'll be shaking hands, what will you be doing - still booing?

I wonder what everyone's reaction if Brycie puts it on someone

I wonder if people's opinions will change then

It would certainly be a defining moment….no turning back if he did.
Be similar to artie/crow in Origin I on a lesser scale

Imo he deserves a run thru banner for himself, cheer girls especially for him, marching band and a solo saxophinist as well as gymnasts, fireworks and a dance theme with people dressed as taxi drivers running all over the place.

Quality Ink.

With you on Prince and O'Donnell Bug, those two were pigs. T'eo fits in the same category as Prince for mine.

I'm not really one for booing the opposition either. I understand its each to their own, just not my thing.

On Gibbs, I will be hoping he has a good game, and I won't be hating on him for it either. Like others said though, if he starts a blue or puts a high/late shot on (which I think Fifita is a more likely culprit,) he'll probably cop a bit of deserved criticism.

For 80mins he is the enemy if he deserves it he will get booed like anyother opposition player that crosses the line. I hope our forward pack dominates and drives them backwards. Bring It On!!!!

im with you tigers05 if gibbs scores a try that wins them the game , he is the opposition not a tiger , and if it is in the finals and he scores to knock us out all the gibbs fans will turn on him , hes gone get over it , i dont think melbourne will do any favours for blair , just hit him as hard as they can , its normal , and i as a supporter would expect our forwards to smash him the same as any other opposition , legal and all 4 in at once

I like you Ink You think outside the square

Would of preferred Liam holding his hand as he runs on and giving him a big cuddle and 1 minutes silence as well for Fifita,DeGois,Johnny Cronk , Brycie and Flanagan

Then let the war begin

Why just boo Bryce why not Fi :deadhorse: fta and Morris they are all old tigers I dont feel the need to boo them maybe just at the stupid salary

Come Sunday, Gibbs won't be running around the field hoping the best for our boys and so, I won't be there cheering him on hoping he plays like a man on a mission.

As far as I'm concerned, every bloke out in that field in a Sharks jersey is the enemy and will be treated as such.

After Sunday, I'll cheer him on… Until we play the Sharks again.
