It is a fun day full of exciting footy. Sad to see the Magpies have not entered this season.
First match of the day is Tigers V Bulls
Didn't the magpies make the grand final last year.?
Semi Final
Knocked out by the Aborignal side who went on to beat BRET in the Grand Final. I didn't see it live as unfortunatley the second day lined up with RTR last year
thanx smeg.any news on player movement for BRET ?
Yeah it is a shame the Magpies havent entered as it was a great way to kick of the season.
Leo decided against it due to the longer season + trials. He doesn't want to risk the players getting injured.
fair enough to.theirs a few players from that team knocking on the first grade door,
Disappointing that the mighty Wetern Suburbs Magpies aren't participating.
There are 3 Campbelltown teams in the tournament???
I have not heard anything Tomcat to be honest. I think alot of the team will depend on retention and how the NRL squad is disseminated between the two NSW Cup sides to be honest. I would imagine with the timing of the Mackay trial that the BRET team will contain many fringe players for the NSW Cup side to be honest but should be interesting nevertheless.
It's a shame that all of NSW State Cup teams haven't entered a team in this competition
So who are the three Cambo teams? All they all Eagles?

That is a very strong BRET squad, particularly when compared to the ones theyve had in previous years. Probably go close to winning it again

Great to see Fletch is still with us. A few new names in the side, I am looking forward to seeing how the team adjust.
Go Bret!!

Good to see young Carr still around…..keep pressure on Fitzhenry.....
Nicholls and Fafita too....
I really feel Carr is a superior player to Fitzhenry in the hooking role.
I cannot reccommend this event highly enough to people though. There is some great footy played and the Japanese team are always a crowd favourite

wow I didn't expect to see Dynevor ever play again. Played halfback for the mighty Western Suburbs Magpies in the late 90's.
Good side named for BRET, be surprised if they're not thereabouts for the finals.
Also playing in the tournament are former Wests & Balmain players
