Can't really complain (R11 vs Eels)

I was really proud of our team tonight and the score line is way more important than the result. There is so much to take from this game forward and I hope Madge focuses on this.

Also, when is the NRL going to take these crusher tackle penalties seriously. It was disgusting watching that mong Nathan Brown milk that penalty and get up so quickly to play on. It makes the game look stupid. I'll continue to say it, Crusher injuries should go off for a 15 minute HIA assessment.

We were kicking into a back three of Gutherson, Ferguson and Sivo.
Compare that to Douehi, Talua and Nofa and even on our good days we are quite a few levels below those guys.
Then put Parra’s excellent, experienced forward play with halves who have serious X factor and it is clear we are not quite there.

Great effort and for the most part a really good game. I think we looked dangerous often, while stoic defense across the line kept us in this.
It was behind the line we were badly exposed and then exploited.

In any other year we would have conceded 50 considering everything that went against us.

I’m not too upset about tonight considering the players we were missing

We still make too many unforced errors by the usual dumb suspects

These clowns need to be suspended for grabbing their heads to grab a penalty for a crusher.

Absolute joke!

Take a dive you sooks

We play like that every week in defence, we’ll make finals.

Difficult to do much in attack with Mbye at fullback and whoever was playing left centre.

I actually thought Mbye look a lot more dangerous in attack from fullback than Doueihi.

Disappointing to lose but there are many promising signs. Our forward pack is becoming very formidable. Still too many errors. Doueihi unconvincing. Benji and Brooks starting halves next week for sure.

He was brought here to play FB but that aside he's bizarre isn't he? He has these 15 minute patches every few games where he just fires up and really attacks the ball and the opposition. And he when he does he really causes issues. I don't know what causes him to do it and why he's not like that more often, I really don't.

I thought we looked a lot better when Mbye went to fullback, he was a lot more involved than AD

I think Benji and Doueihi in the halves we are also 2 class players short of being a quality side

Reynolds might come in and Brooks might stay on the bench. Can’t persist with Walters. He doesn’t have it.

I need to watch the game again but Walters seemed nonexistent tonight.

I thought the same about Lucy after he scored the first try.

I think we have the players for a decent quality side, the issue is having them available. No doubt a couple of upgrades would also help.

A very interesting game tonight, we thought very hard, we just struggle when the top teams go up that extra gear. Very similar to the Panthers game that when the top sides go to top gear we are fighting so hard to stay in the game but are under constant pressure. That really was the difference tonight, but I am very impressed by the fight in this team.

A few people suggesting Doueihi in the halves, his defense tonight showed me that I don't believe he can defend in the frontline. He was beaten a number of times by front rowers tonight, both in the frontline defending and at fullback.

Blore was huge tonight, very impressed. I heard on triple m after watching the game that he was mentored by MG, he definately has that aggression about him and it something we have needed for a while.

He is a good solid footballer, nothing flash, issue is we need much more than solid footballers. I think the only option next week is Brooks and Marshall.

We are still a player or 2 short in my opinion.

Before we start giving a praise for the effort which i think is warranted, i usually don't bag the officials however it was a bit lob sided with the decisions.
I thought we deserved a few more penalties with the ruck based upon what the ref gave to them.
No complaints however took the +10.5 points at $50 and also picked 1st try scorer at 31/1 with $10 on it. Tipping went the Eels thought we might just fall short as we did, would have been great to win but too many forwards missing, Blore was a welcome addition tonight,
