It's funny Woods hasn't sat down with his manager when the big bearded fellow was at a cafe in Lugano last week with a gentleman that looked very much like his manager.
Maybe he was the footy whisperer I wasn't sure but Woodsy loves his basketball shirts.

I ran into Kev this week at Hurstville and asked him what was happening and he was hopeful but it was unlikely they would stay.

The whole saga is a joke I want to see the back of them my kids are even losing interest in the Tigers.

As speculation and opinion are running high over our two dynamos and where they are headed,I would like to take this opportunity to say,the desicions that they make will be their own,we as fans have absolutely no bearing or influence on the said desicions..it would be sad if they leave the club that has looked after and developed them over the years, however they have a right to choose the direction they would like their careers to take.

I'm as passionate as everyone else on this forum about the WTs,however these negotiations are in the hands of the people concerned,I can only wait for the outcome of these negotiations and being just a little older,I have come to understand that people make varied choices and desicions during their life, wether better or for worse.Im not going to get an ulcer worrying about who gets what or where their going, this is NRL and if you make it you can virtually ask for whatever you want,if which ever club pays the most and you take it,then that's something you have done yourself..

We as members, fans and supporters can do bugger all to change their minds..I have seen plenty of players come and go,not just for the WTs but other clubs as well, some have made good desicions others poor ones..If both go I will be disappointed as a member and fan, however I will be excited to see who we replace them with and support them and the coach on progressing further up the ladder and onto the road of a premiership.

I'm pretty sure which ever way things turn out, life will go on and there will be many changes in the future, but that is the clubs problem for them to solve and leave the club in good standing for the future..

Lastly,I wish all on the forum a Happy Easter, travel safe enjoy the company and love of your families and friends, may God bless…

I wake up every day in a calm mood. I have my coffee and toast with wifey and wonder what the world will bring.

Perfect harmony.

Then I log onto the WTF.
So long harmony … hello cruel world!

Well said TT. The only gripe I have with losing these two, is that they came up through the local ranks at the WT's, and we will probably have to replace them with outsiders.
However we as members and fans of the club will have to accept the direction in which they go and wish them luck in whatever they decide. :frowning:

If teddy and woods are on the bus I'm happy but if there not, well under the bus is the the best place for both.

From what I'm hearing from a reliable source. Teddy isn't on the bus.

I hope he is wrong. But doesn't look positive.

No idea about woods.

Yeah. I was quite disappointed when I heard. And was hoping he may change his mind.

But I'm now past that, and trying to look at the positives.

Cleary could have almost 2 mil he was going to use on 2 players at one stage, not including anything extra that was still available.

It's a great place for a coach to be in, as he can build the squad he wants, with limited or no restrictions.

I think Woods will stay and Tedesco will be wearing red, white and blue.

Or maybe there is a storm brewing in the wake of the grub's trip to a Cronk and soon to be Slater free Melbourne.

Well if you go to news.com in the NRL section, there is an article from Farah and he speaks about what has gone on at the Tigers since he has left," they can't blame me " is his quote, however he goes on to speak about how Woods and himself have discussed what has gone on and Woods opens up to him about how tough it has been, referring to the captaincy and contract negotiations..

Maybe this is why Farah and Woods have been seen having coffee some days..I will take a punt and say that Woods will go,he hasn't the intestinal fortitude needed to be a good captain,he can't seem to differentiate between mates off the field and TEAMATES,you have to be stern on the field and get the best out of the team as well as question the refs if you think they are wrong or have been to one sided in their desicions..

If Woods goes and he plays at another club without the responsibility of captaincy, then I think you will see him progress further during his career.Although he is a good person and caracter, the captaincy is a big job,I don't think he can handle it because of his demeanour..

As for Teddy,I will be sorry to see him go,love the guy and how he plays….but if he chooses elsewhere and the Tigers do improve all around ( club and team) when he is gone, then he can look back and say " I should have stayed, they are a great club that was good to me"..it's his choice...

As a side note,if Moses,Woods and Teddy go to other places to win a premiership and don't,but the Tigers play finals in the next two or three years, wouldn't that be a kick in the pants for them, especially if the Tiges win another premiership...they will have big bank accounts.....but no PREMIERSHIP RING...GOOD LUCK TO THEM IN MAKING THEIR CHOICES....

If Woods goes, he'd be a loss, but he's reached his ceiling. I don't think we'll watch him week after week seeing what he's doing and being dirty that he's not doing it for us. He's not irreplaceable. Tedesco on the other hand will hurt.

I just think if they leave it would be the ultimate betrayal. This club has given them everything, from probably paying for their school fees to bringing them in when they were young and letting them blossom.

I see them leaving as bad as an SBW. Would be an absolute insult.

We all should know how these prolonged negotiations wash out after Wests Tigers' management meeting middle of this week with these players' managers.

I just don't buy the fact that we're supposedly a club embroiled in constant drama when it's been proven that the clubs they've been linked to have had their fair share of off field drama too. As far as us not getting results, it's an insult that they as senior players take zero blame for that. So if an 18 year old kid like Suli drops a ball that costs us a game, that is going to influence them to leave? It's a cop out. It's their prerogative if they choose to leave, but what will be the hard part is if they feed us half baked, weak excuses as to why they are leaving as opposed to just being honest.
