Agree, I think Richardson is assessing the state of things inc the coaching staff and in the off season will make decisions. I feel for him- he is now in charge of a club whose key playing management personnel were already put in place by an acknowledged underperforming Chair, Board and CEO. Not wishing to be disrespectful but Benji coming on board was a PR exercise were is was to learn from 2 years under Sheens as an assistant. With the Sheens exercise failing, why should Richardson be bound to a previous administration call?
Im sure Benji and co are being assessed and whether a call is made in of season I'll leave to Richardson's judgement. I know its another bad look with the coaching roundabout but if its for the right purpose I can live with it if it does happen. The only thing is have the replacement lined up already and ready to hit the ground running next day.
Ideally, Benji could standaside as head, step back to assistant to keep learning with the view to taking over in a couple of years when replacement coach finishes by putting his hat in the ring then (but no promises of the job- that depends on performance).
