Needs to announce 8 signings to make a top 30 in 2026.Word on the street folks that Richo about to drop 3 new signings soon ..
Depressing as hell Winston, F if I know where they come from.Needs to announce 8 signings to make a top 30 in 2026.
Pretty slim pickings out there, especially considering any near off contract marquee/genuine first graders will be looking to make bank with contracts for 27 and 28 from the Bears and PNG coming in. Richo had better be working some magic for the Tigers on the low down and not just looking for his next job.Depressing as hell Winston, F if I know where they come from.

On that, Musgrave released immediately by Warrington to sign a contract in the Championship, level below Super League. He never really made it did he.Ryan Matterson, Michael Chee Cam, Zane Musgrove…

I’ll give Richo the benefit of the doubt that those NRLW signings weren't the ones he was referring to on the podcast and my gut tells me they probably weren’t.
No disrespect to the NRLW team and all 5 of their fans but I’ll say what most on here won’t say: very few to no one gives a shit about their signings, especially when we’re in a real fight for the top 8 for the first time in over a a decade and are in desperate need of reinforcements outside the club.
Like I said, benefit of the doubt to Richo but I want his arse out of here if they were the signings he was referring to. That’s Pascoe-esque if that’s the case.

Yep I listened to that when it came out and it does sounds like it’s for our first grade men’s team and there’s been too many whispers about the likes of KPP and May. But it’s been a month since then although maybe the Galvin stuff has forced us to push the news back a bit.

About 10 of the current Tigers top 27 squad would struggle to make that league. On that, Musgrave released immediately by Warrington to sign a contract in the Championship, level below Super League. He never really made it did he.
Yes just nervous at the moment but if nothing is announced by the end of the week or after Galvin finalisation then panic will start to happen.Pretty slim pickings out there, especially considering any near off contract marquee/genuine first graders will be looking to make bank with contracts for 27 and 28 from the Bears and PNG coming in. Its getting pretty worrying when by mid season you are 3 players short for current year and 8 players short for the next season with not a signing in sight.
I dont think it would be too much to ask in current year in a pro league youd have your ducks lined up to announce the departure of dipshit with news of glossy signings to justify selling more merch to the fans. However..........tigers.Yes just nervous at the moment but if nothing is announced by the end of the week or after Galvin finalisation then panic will start to happen.
I hate to be a body language expert, as I know how that profession is frowned upon. But watch him at 48:15. Before that, he’s sitting back, arm stretched out on the table. The moment he mentions signings, he scratches his neck. Could mean absolutely nothing, but it’s a common trait when people aren’t being truthful that they can get fidgety. And here we are weeks later, and what he said has not come to fruition. Read into that what you will.

My optimism left this club a decade ago.

IMO I think he wants to put this Galvin rubbish to bed first and then announce players signings. This way the media won't have as much to put on us and also puts the club on a high. In an ideal world the team put up a performance to be proud of against NQ and then we get some good news in recruitment. Wouldn’t be very Wests Tigers though.IMO I think he wants to put this Galvin rubbish to bed first and then announce players signings.
