To everyone that watched fairytales from Tigerland

Remember the try v the Warriors when we lost by 2 ...and Madge screams about not giving up your inside shoulder .......

Well that gives you a picture of our defence everyone .....if players aren't following their opposition number and are compacting the line because the middle is folding ..it explains why our wingers are getting left high and dry and facing 3 on 1's ......

I know this will get confusing .....but yes you need a firm defensive system ...but that system needs to be fluid ...even though we play our thirds of the field ...we really need to be talking big time ....caling who you are taking and be prepared to make positive defensive calls (being fluid )

This passive defence is a load of crap to be honest .....it's basically the opposite of relying on line speed ...it's more based on your defence being as fast as your slowest defender ...OK yes you maintain a straight line ...but it is so easy to bend the line and just roll over the top of side

Bring Bryce Gibbs back and have him work solely with 2-3 blokes solely based on developing 80 minutes of line speed every week .....like Melbourne ...Penrith ...Parra

Fixing our defence is key ...the less points we need to score every week to win games the easier

Defence ,Defence , Defence

I tuned out after To…

Yes we know you put attack over defence ...you want us to win 48 - 46.....

Never have that’s a lie

Mate I like your post, can I just say that these players are professional NRL contracted players, they train as a team,do gym work to strengthen their bodies and use endless tackling bags to learn the technique of tackling...
Madge puts gameplans and structures in place to put in to play at game time....
Question is.....how the hell can these blokes go out there, arm grab, miss tackles, fall of players and allow offloads...its horrendous how many times this year it happened...people can blame Maguire all they like,to me its lack of committment, poor attitude and not being up to NRL standard...
If I have said something that people havent seen, then feel free to reply...

I'm not blaming Madge I thought if he got the win yesterday keeps his job

But he has lost the players ......and you won't win the players back

I wish he really lost the players, like overseas somewhere

They are like Boomerangs ...always find their way back

I reckon they tried that .......

Like Nofa tries to do the right when he comes out of the line ......but you have to flog someone when you do it .....Jorge Taufua anyone ....

Whomever complained about the defensive system should be ear marked for exit. They don’t want to tackle its effort not skill the dim wits.

Move up as one dominate the tackle and the ruck. Slide in one line when needed. Problem is they get bashed in the middle, don’t wrestle, no line speed and then defend almost every tackle with a quick play the ball.

After such a disastrous season, the concern about a snitch leaking stories to the media is amusing.

It's more important that we sign a highly regarded young coach who will continue on the good work with our talented juniors and build a side to challenge for a future title. I hope when he joins us, he is allowed to bring one or two talented young players from his current club to strengthen our roster.

And the first thing our young coach should do is get rid of brooks the most underperforming halfback in the history of the NRL.

Ciraldo, Flanagan, Ivan cleary same player manager.

Correct and for a few months it has been coming from him. As much as we hope for a Ciraldo, the push is 100% behind Flanagan.

I guess the upside with Flanagan is that if he is closely linked to a player manager, you get on the marrakesh express and have a host of his stable mates at WTs.

Yeah last time Ivan got us the greats Packer, Reynolds same player manager too.

Can you trust Flanagan won't shaft us too.

Its Nofa and Brooks leaking the info.....haha. Actually it was Nofa, Brooks was too stupid to come up with the idea.

Chammas has to write something, I mean it's his job, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good story. It's how journos work these days.

Chammas has had about 15 articles lined up for the last 6 rounds, depending on how well or badly the Tigers did. He certainly didn't do his two-part expose ring-around the day before Tigers shaped up against Bulldogs. Bloke is obsessed.

One of the commentators on Fox nailed it yesterday, nobody in our defensive line makes it their mission to stop the ball. They just passively move towards the attack and then breath a sigh of relief when the ball zings past them. It’s 100% attitude over structure. Luciano is the worst offender.

Someone is leaking this information no doubt.

You have to ask yourself why?

After a period of relative calm, we have again recently become leakier than those water bottles that trainers run onto the field with

Delusional thinking its Farah.

Ill put mine on the club releasing information to justify the sacking of the head coach thats about to happen.

I would say you're right

I’d say they did that the moment they agreed to Fox sports to film our season.

True ????

Someone has been leaking for a major part of the season , IMO this has been a coordinated attack .

Might be right there snake.

But who? it would have to be someone in the know...someone who is desperate to take the heat off themselves and at the same time, be keen to speak to the media. Who could this person be?
