CALLING WESTS MAGPIES!!!
NSW Cup exists solely for Wests Tragic's according to weststigers.
And to me that dismisses an entire history and current pathway program that continues to contribute to our club's future.
That's not sentimentality...it's stewardship.

And as for self-interest?
Wanting balanced representation, visible black and white colours, and genuine respect for Wests legacy isn't about me...it's about upholding the joint venture in both spirit and structure.

If recognising one half of our foundation makes people uncomfortable, maybe that tells us something about where the imbalance truly lies.
Ok 👍

Be clear mate, what is the alignment you are asking for? If you can't answer that simple question then it is obvious that you are only here to stir up Wests Tigers supporters.
Spot on.

It’s amazing. I’ve been away from this forum for what feels like a couple of years and he’s still stirring the pot banging on about his bloody magpies the same as when I left 🤣

Please get away from who or who doesn't own 90%, if Western Suburbs owns 90% or if Balmain owned 90% or even if Harry owned 90% it's not relevant to the past history, it's what’s best right here, right now for the Wests Tigers and the future of the Wests Tigers, not what’s best for the Western Suburbs Magpies or what’s best for the Balmain Tigers, both are memories and is where they should remain, a fond memory that should be remembered occasionally.

The WESTS TIGERS, a team represented by a tiger emblem and mascot, orange, black and white colours (or black, white and orange if you prefer), diehard fans of both FORMER clubs together with new fans and long term success, that's what is relevant today, not which side of the JV gets bragging rights.
Well put mate. Division has held this club back for too long.

Yes you’re right but do you really think he will be sacked? It would be very surprising.

So, we have to hope he has made his decisions for the good of the club.

For example, the TDS decision is short term thinking so we assume Api will help us get to the semis next year and the year after.

I’m hoping Api and Luia will attract some quality players and will help build a positive culture.

Like I said we need to be positive because he’s probably here to stay…….for a little while
Complete opposite.

The TDS decision is long term thinking. As others have said, you shouldn't build your team around an expensive hooker.

Right now we have Hope + Api to cover Hooker and Haywood coming in the future.

Before you respond:
Who's our halfback coming through?
Who's our 5/8 coming through the juniors?

Where are the 3-4 forwards we will need in 2 years time?
We have wing covered and maybe Center is Taylan plays there with Toa.

Bula is up for contract renewal... Hooker is well covered, why would we spend on where we have depth?

Freddy referenced it because his 1st game was coming on as a replacement against Wests at Campbelltown - I was there (he set up a try with his first touch from memory).

Wests Tigers have only been around since 2000
and stuff did happen before then 👍
Correct first game was vs Magpies at Cambo. However I think he was talking about his second game, which was against Balmain and having to face the scary Tigers pack of that time

The only public division I ever see comes from Elias, Roach, Gary Leo and the Mayor of Leichhardt.
There's a common connection there.
Maybe those who constantly aim their poison darts at Magpies need to redirect their venom.

there is no mayor of Leichhardt …what has Darcy Byrne, if that’s who you are referring , done to cause division ?

The other three barely have a brain cell between them…and are all old men… I don’t see anybody supporting what they say .. the opposite actually

Never heard of the Chairman of HBG (and some of his cronies on the board) the only ones with any power?
Dennis Burgess, the geriatric moptop, whose plan it is to destroy the WestsTigers and bring the Magpies back?
Not division… hatred.

I think everyone who supports the club - regardless of what side they come - from has been critical at some point and if they haven't been then they hold a low bar in relation to wanting to support a successful club.
Being critical of how the club has managed to be camped at the bottom of the table for what seems an eternity is not being divisive it's about wanting to do better.

It's funny that you've never had a problem with Danny Stapleton. Why is that? Do you agree with him and Gary Leo?
There are many many skeletons in that closet that are on public record, yet not a peep out of you.
Instead you have a hatred for a man due to his hair. I mean it can only be his hair seeing as how he's made no public statements that resemble anything like what you're saying. There's only been the untested hearsay of disgruntled former directors.
My spider senses tell me there's a reason.

all these people on both sides are over 60… they won’t be around forever, and the club will finally be free

Wests Tigers - No Country for Old Men
Problem is that like a lot of other people on this form, I am over 60 and my greatest fear is that I won't be around long enough to see this club finally free of those people.

The bastards will probably out live me and a lot of others. 😡
