The boys showed character yesterday, obviously they were not in the right head space in that first half, however their effort in the second half was to be commended, they came back fighting and did not stop trying till the whistle, this type of mentality will serve them well later on.

Yeah completely agree. To be honest, I think it would have been disturbing if they weren't affected by the news. But the way they managed to turn things around in the second half is a credit to everyone involved.
Their comeback gave me goosebumps because you could see the pain in everyones eyes and the determination to put that to the side and fight.
For 15 minutes in that second half, the Roosters were dead in the water. It is going to be a long, hard week for the boys…especially Wednesday. Newcastle should be very worried as they will face a pissed off side who will be playing for their mate and each other.

oh please you guys are so one eyed its amazing get the tissues out mate they where shocking again they have the hearts of a pea comeback pffttt what when the game was over. a couple of good wins yeah then meek surrender when it counts against the roosters who have been dead in the water for weeks against melbourne without there stars ag pen without there team they struggled to beat ells and sharks good wins ag cowboys and warriors covered the cracks over a bad wall with wallpaper mate i go to all games lower and firsts and yes ive been on here when theyve won. but iam not one eyed. realist. i think we will finish in eight but wont bother the bettersides.

One loss under duress and you rush in here to have a stab. Dead set pea hearted supporter is what you are. I get upset when we lose also but look a little deeper into the situation mate.

Thinking about it….my post didnt do the boys justice. There was plenty of character, I define it as ''overcoming adversity"....we almost did that.
I usually see character in defence though....that aspect ystrday it was lacking a lot, though circumstances were at play there
