Seriously I believe that is a very good idea. Having said that only a brave and innovative coach would make such a selection. However as the saying goes, "fortune favours the brave".

We get owned in the ruck in defence and getting out of our own half as it is- starting Farah at 13 and adding Cherrington at 9 will worsen this problem.

Cherrington to play off the bench with Robbie to have a break at the 30 minute mark. When Farah returns 10 after half time, both he and Cherrington can be on the field if the game allows it. (Ie- we're not getting outmuscled). Plenty of teams have successfully done this.

Farah/Cherrington can cover injury to 6&7, and Moses and Teddy could shuffle to cover an injury to a three quarter.

If Cherrington progresses well in 2016, We may have to make a decision on Farah.

Cherrington wouldn't be a regular starting hooker at any NRL club till 2016 at the earliest, so the timing is ok for him to hang around for another contract I reckon. Especially with a chance to be part of a Moses, teddy, Brooks spine.

This guy ignited the team when he came on. His combo with Brooks and Moses was excellent.
I couldn't believe it when Taylor took him off. On second thought yes I can as as Taylor lacks vision.

I hope that if Farah is back next week that Cherrington is on the bench instead of Halatau.

I like this bloke, he is so confident, and makes very few mistakes. I wouldn't mind seeing him stay on as hooker (full time) :righton:

He is a player we will build our new team around. I think he is the type of player who will attract other youngsters, especially those from a kiwi background, to the club. Despite the loss of Martin, we have this gem emerging. I don't doubt other clubs are still envious of our talent.

Here is a thought. Cherrington to hooker, Farah to the second row or lock with Lawrence and Marty.

It's certainly out of left field, I'll give you that.

I think it is a great idea - have been thinking along the same lines for a few weeks.

Second row: Sironen and Lawrence
Front row: Woods, Cherrington, Sue
Bench: Galloway, Tapau, Ave, Lodge
18th man: Halatau
Doesn't look too bad to me (move the starting team around if you like but I think it would work.

To be honest, Im not against the idea. Id like to keep Robbie until his contract expires. I also would not want to lose Cherington.

It could work. Robbie is a high workload type of player who has vision, ball skills and tight defence. He has become slow out of dummy half but granted the extra room could create opportunities for Teddy and Moses….its worth a try.

No chance of Farah being moved from hooker until he loses his origin spot. Cherrington is impressive and in the short term should spell farah at hooker during games and during origin/injury.

Farah to lock is the dumbest ting I have heard in years. FFS match him up against Taumololo, Taupau even a Mannering is too strong. Sue/Taupau are good options there.

For the record, I support the idea for a period (15 mins?) during a game to get Cherrington his minutes - not as a permanent move.
