Source - My Cousin (Heighington's close mate)
I'm sure your cousin is great friends with Rhino but that's not a confirmation - that's a rumour with a source.

Yes I see what you mean mate but all I can say is that I can share with you guys is that Heigno has been offered one year..
Sounds a bit dodge I know but I just thought I would share it with the forum…
@851 said:Whilst I think ET is a must, Heighno has been playing pretty good for the sharks, better than Dene has for us, he can offload at will, but it would depend on price.
We need a winger, centre and secondrower, preferably one who kicks goals, although I think Moses will be a decent kicker by next year.

851 I have read heaps of your posts and I agree with most of what you write but this has thrown me.
Heighno and offload have never been used in the same sentence before. He is the most one dimensional hog of a forward and offers absolutely nothing. He rarely makes more than 5 meters with the ball and never hits the line at a speed that is even remotely threatening. He is completely predictable and his departure from here was long overdue. I will be livid if any of these rumours come to fruition.

@Masterton said:@Bob said:This place is unbelievable - People talk about Hayne joining and it's "No" from all and sundry, However Heighno (A guy we have been paying for almost half a decade to play against us) and everyone wants to bring him back.
Unless he is returning to lay out the witches hats at training he should enjoy his final years elsewhere.
We already have the best fullback in the NRL.
Heighno would be great back-up if cheap enough.

Well as Hayne coming would be all hypothetical, you don't think you could move Hayne to say the centres or wing and he may do a better job than what we have? What people reject on this forum is crazy, bringing back heighno is only for sentimentality really, like Ballin this year, aging players looking for their final contract very rarely work out.
