It's the ELF, Shane still running the water bottle with Penrith. He is game fit, just hasn't made many tackles??

Well he will be right at home on our right side defence then.

Moley has picked this up today, saying it's happening for 2017.

DANIEL Fitzhenry, John Skandalis, Dene Halatau, Liam Fulton and Pat Richards all left Wests Tigers after the club’s 2005 premiership win – only to return later to the club.

Now a sixth member of that fabulous team may do the same.

Veteran forward Chris Heighington – a youngster who came off the bench in the famous win against the Cowboys – is set to leave the Sharks and return to the Tigers for one last season in 2017.

Heighington has been in good form for the table-topping Sharks but is reportedly craving a swansong season with his beloved Tigers over a stint in the UK Super League.

Gotta have your veterans in team
Tackle machine who when it gets tough keeps going unlike the new breed coming through u 20 system
Chris is a professional

Wasnt keen on him coming back @ first but the way he is playing & if we can get him cheap enough, not the worst signing. Probably means Gower wont be coming.

Dumb recruitment still i suppose someone has to hold Ballins hand on the sideline and they can talk about the good old days

I do not understand these types of signings IMO theclub has to move forward and sign players that will take the team to the next level.Am over this club continually taking backward steps signing players that are looking at a super payout season …Hino does not really offer much to be honest ..the club promotes moving up the ladder each season but continually sign players at the end of there careers .

I think he'll take Halatau's place for a season. Most of the top teams have veterans and up and comers. If he plays like he has been playing for the Sharks I welcome it. Perhaps it is part of the Farah/Cherrington to Sharks negotiations….

Sounds about right Sharks who are running first sign Cherrington and possibly Farah and we sign Heighnington.

Heighington even at this stage in his career offers way more then what Lovett does. However you can bet that if Heighno does come into the team it wont be Lovett that misses out..

If this is true, it will be Farah all over again.

Apparently there are rules saying that first grade 'legends' cant play reggies otherwise they throw a tantrum. Heighno will want his 250th game in first grade too. Apparently that is also a reason to pick someone in a first grade team.
