He's our best player.

Yep Chris Lawrence is a gun backrower. Watch the first 30 minutes of tonight's game and watch his defence closely…..gun backrower

And you called it KS

Rated this positively mate but hit the negative and won't let me change it.

Fixed it…

I've said it in previous posts,Chris will be up there with the games best second rowers.he's been exceptional.

Tough as nails…

Chris has been good. He is a mud runner and would have gone well as a centre last night with the conditions slowing the opposition.

Finally I can say good things about him again. Great performance. I think his only going to get better at it as well. Wait till he has a full off season to bulk up a bit more. I've always liked Chris, his a true professional so I'm happy for him.

I like him in the backrow. He runs hard and hits hard. I'm worried about the mistakes in his game though. I want to see him be safe with his hands.

He's thriving since moving to the backrow, another good game last night with some great defence.

He is doing well. No doubt about it it has been his best football over the last 3 years. No coincidence with the belated positional change.

However he set the bar so incredibly low, that you would think he made 150 metres, had 4 offloads and a few tackle busts with the reviews he gets. He has done well and been in our top few the past month. However I probably would not be in a rush to retain him long term. I would be offering him 1-2 year rolling deals on far less money if he continues to play well. With his injury history you have to be smarter about how we mange the cap.

Maybe Lovett should do what Rowdy is doing.

Lovett is good in defence but attack ?

Good on you Rowdy another excellent game.

Well! he is already better than Cordner, but that wouldn't be hard.

What excited me about him tonight enough to start this outrageous thread was his dirty work in defence. As mentioned by others his line running and all the other stuff that looks good he did very well. But he did some clean up work in defence that you would expect from seasoned backrowers that are renowned for such stuff like Hindmarsh and Ricketson. His head is right in this move. I'd keep a close eye on him over the next month and if things go to plan extend his deal (for a little less)

Absolutely agree. His read of the play and commitment meant he made some critical tackles for us. We haven't had a second rower who can also run a good line for a long time.

Go Lawrence. He was one of our best (top 3) for sure.

He still has a lot to learn to become a great back rower but I have to say he has been impressive the past 3 games. He seems to really embrace the move and if he was packing down with a champion as a partner we could see him take it to the level we hope. Please sign a rep standard back rower to guide him and Tupau…the potential is exciting to say the least.
