Ciraldo Signs with Dogs

5 year deal. We could not get him over the line, could not get any other coach and had to dust off someone that might as well have been cryogenically frozen for the last 10-15 years (except for the smattering of failure) and a couple of blokes with no experience at all.

We are a basket case, and I have no expectations that we will improve beyond the bottom half of the table in the next 5 years

I am not surprised in the slightest the dogs always buy the shinniest and most expensive toys that they can find and then throw them away when they don't work.I expect this to be another which does not work quickly enough for them and will be cast aside within 2-3 years. However it is still a preferable option than the one our brains trust came up with

Once the form slumps come, as they do for everyone, and if the losses start to mount up, Gould will eventually do to Ciraldo what he did to Barrett. Much happier with vastly experienced old hand Sheens running things here at WT

I think it probably came down to rosters and Gus. Dogs have done a lot of the heavy recruitment lifting and, of course, we tend to be perceived as a basket case( what a surprise).
Now up to our incoming coaching team/ recruits to prove everybody wrong so after some time we can say Cameron Who ?

Does anyone think the doggies were in the background the whole time ? It’s gus Gould. He would have been planning this for 12 months or more. Trent and wests tigers were smoke screens and camouflage.

Since the super league days, I started following afl. Richmond tigers of course
In my opinion, we need to think strategically outside the circle. I believe we should look into recruiting and afl executive to a ceo level. The way treat junior development , school programs, their reach and marketing plans, cultures, and how they treat their players, fans, members, and their sport as a religion… would be a strategic strength.
