Oh really? Tell me. What was he transparent about in his interview?

This ain't the old days mate. Whatever you say can be immediately verified with evidence now. The video is there for all to see. He tap danced around every question. There was zero transparency.
Well I think you’re in the minority there, a lot more fans like him and are willing give him a chance than those who are not.

Haha its quite funny how they keep pursuing this strategy. Then like clockwork, the propaganda support crew turn up.

The central point, which you have missed or chosen to miss, is not whether fans like him or are willing to give him a go. It is that he is handcuffed and as a result, there was no transparency. That was evident from his interview. Still waiting for the quotes in relation to the "transparency" you speak of - I couldn't find any.

You've framed this as if I have some personal gripe with SM and I want him sacked. That dishonesty is shameful. My issue is that he is limited in his control and decion-making. Don't you see? It wouldn't matter if we had Elon Musk as CEO. He wouldn't be the one making the decisions.

I'm sure SM has a best intentions approach, but I certainly couldn't get up in front of fans and try to avoid the questions they want answered. At that point, you've conceded your integrity in my view, but I also appreciate he is in a tough spot - his choices are limited to behave or leave. A man needs to pay the bills also.

No other club is held back like we are by their board and if they are, there is a mechanism to boot them out.

So one again - quote SM where he was transparent. You can't because he wasn't allowed to say anything for fear of losing his job.

Shaun has been very open and transparent, making himself available and doing his best to make things better moving forward.
Barry is now putting out statements to correct incorrect information being spread.
All our players sound extremely positive and optimistic about is have a successful season.
As of now everything is positive, why keep bringing up the negatives of the past ?
You make a lot of good points. I agree Shaun Mielekamp has been open and transparent, also has been good in his last roll at the WTs and IMO he deserves a shot at the COE position.
The playing group and coaching staff are professionals and will get on with focusing at the job in hand and exclude external noise as much as possible. We may even make the 8. If we have moderate success a lot of the fundamental issues of the club will be hidden for a year or two.
However, long term we are at a huge disadvantage with the clubs where business focus is on the “rugby league team” rather than running a “leagues club” first and a “rugby league team” second.

So far in 2026 there has been no word of any infighting, no word of any blockages or interference to prevent our football department from doing their job and no word of an reason to prevent our players training and playing to the best of their ability.
Surely this is a good thing ?
Why are sone people so insistent on continually bringing up past issues that are not currently a problem ?
Look forward, not back we cannot change the past.
Because history suggests it won't last.
