Folkes is a myth ?

He is a myth because posters on here reckon he turned our season around via being the fitness coach. The credit would be better heaped on Sheens.

I'm not arguing about Sheens and his record just the irrational opinion that Folkes had a magical effect on our club as a fitness coach.

One of the worst decisions WT management ever made was letting Folkes go - he should've been offered the top job. Oh what might have been! Have to move on though, I guess, but I just don't know if I can endure another 3 years of mediocrity!

Not exactly..THE worst decision was signing Sheens for another 3 years AFTER this season!
based on exactly what…um..er..Panthers were going to pinch him.Absolutely ridiculous.And yet again he hides behind the "extensive player injury" excuse..as if no other team goes through that..?
Even if Sheens was an excellent coach(& his record of recent suggests he's anything but that),this team is absolutely desperate for some fresh ideas & some fresh thoughts.
And the younger players with potential need that potential nurtured & developed so that they dont get punted,& that we dont have to go out & buy overpriced big names in the marketplace to substitute for them
Only 3.4 (very long)years to go....

Don't be surprised if they only sign him to a one year contract and Cleary takes over (One of Gould's bum buddies ) or Gould himself takes over . Gould's media commitments end with Channel 9 next season and the interview I saw him give about him possibly becoming full time coach He basically said he would see if he enjoyed this role first and see what happens …..

**sheens has just resigned for another few years** so these repetitive topics on sheens and the coach are getting tiresome. he aint going anywhere so live with it.

and the problem with our playing roster is that a good chunk of it aint there.

lets just hope the team can get back to full strength as quick as possible and we can make a solid charge from here on to the finals.

incase u have been under a rock the last month or so…...that dont mean much

if sheens didnt wield the power that he does he wouldnt have gotten a contract extension that he did. like many people here have mentioned, sheens is a protected species in some peoples eyes. we'd have to get the spoon this year and next for any chance of a matty elliot (mid season chop).
