Coach and not playing roster is our problem

Our shit coach is the one who the club should be letting go. Nothing wrong with our playing roster.

Newcastle won with one of the youngest halves pairings ever in Roberts and Stig yesterday. Yet we looked completely lost without Marshall. It was as if the side prepared for the match without a coach.

On top of this our CEO reacts by signing Sheens for another 3 years because the Panthers showed some interest in him.
 
The problem with topic like this is they are only as valid as our last result. Start of the year we loved him, now we hate, what happens if we win next game
 
We have so many injuries at the moment and all year for that matter!, and in Salary cap era it is hard to win under those circumstances.
I think to be in the 8 given our injury run is very impressive!

On fri night we played the doggies at near enough to full strength.

We were missing
Benji, Lawrence, Lote, Payten, Utai from our full strength starting side and than lost another starting player in the early stages of the game.

There are circumstances other than coaching hurting us at the moment
 
You make a good point Tigerdan and i guess it depends on the person. Personally i have been of the belief that the club is well overdue for a new coach, even after last year's successful (in my eyes) season
 
ORIGINAL this topic is…...The playing roster which you refer to as ok....who assembled it....

Newcastle won at home against a team thats like ours....full of good players not playing as a team.To much fancy stuff.glory hogs

Dont encourage him happy…...

No the bulldogs were coming off 6 losses which made them more desperate then us.Its only 1 game where still in the 8 and we all know anything can happen......sometimes all this so called turmoil can have positives on a team.... our players need to concentrate on what there paid to do.....play footy at the best of there ability.
 
We are stale and seemingly directionless.

You either change coach or players. We chose option b.

I will wait and see how it pans out before making a decision

Panthers a floundering and cant find a coach…

Our players are not playing like they should and like we the fans expect.

They seemed pretty keen for him to say when his contract was being negotiated. That was only what, 8 weeks ago?

Danny Weidler does not count as a source Bug…

No player or staff member would risk their job telling you anything….1 beer at the club doesnt make you a mate
 
Familiarity breeds contempt.

A try a game over the past two weeks is pretty abysmal.They tried everything against the storm but were clueless against the dullbogs.We seemed to have no ammo,regardless of Benji being missing.

Maybe we could loan our coach out for 12 months and he'll come back fresher and with newer ideas.

And,if the Queesland mob have watched tigers games over the past six weeks,they wouldn'tbe knocking themselves out to sign lui.But if its a done deal ,good.
 
The fact that 99.9% of our attack comes from only one player is, in my opinion, a reflection of a coach, who is void of any new ideas. Surely, after (how many years has Sheens been with us?) he would be able to manufacture some alternative game plans for when Benji and other key players aren't there? Other coaches can do it, why can't Sheens? Stale as 30 day old bread!
