Coaching circus

there's only a very finite amount of possibilities.

some of these "journalists" play the high school game of spin the bottle".

Cleary to Penrith. Barrett to Tigers.

Remember last week you said if BJ Lealua joined the club you'd leave? And I backed you
up?

I'm starting to lean towards the BJ.

Haha!!

I’m not suggesting I want this, just throwing the possibility out there.

I actually don’t like Barrett as a coach. Over emotional imo

Cleary and son to Roosters. Cleary and son to Broncos. Cleary and son to WT. Cleary and son to Panthers. Cleary without son to WT. Bennett to Panthers. Barrett to Panthers.

Last 4 weeks coaching news. All at some stage were locked in 100% by all the so called journos.

Just goes to show how much BS this whole thing is.

If Cleary goes to Penrith, so be it. As long as we get some sort of compensation if he leaves early.
As for Barrett, hopefully he never sets foot at Concord- he is hopeless. Maguire or Toovey will do.

Toovey to manly for sure I reckon

My tips for 2019:
Toovey to manly
Walters to brisbane
Bennett to st George
Barrett to Penrith

McGregor to Manly
Bennett to StGeorge
Barrett to Parramatta (smokey)
Seibold to Brisbane
Madge to Penrith (2 year caretaker)
Souths searching

It would take a brave man to walk out on an NRL coaching gig if he doesn’t have another lined up, they aren’t exactly easy to come by.

Especially a rookie coach. Walking out/ giving up doesnt really look good on the resume

No experienced coach will take the gig at Penrith with Gussy looking over the shoulder all the time. A rookie that Gus can heavily influence (control)is going to be a more believable scenario.

If Barret leaves Manly, next stop will be Penrith.

Well if its true that they have extended Gould for 5 years, that is looking more likely.
Supposedly O'Neil is good mates with Ivan Cleary. Surely the Gould factor would have been taken into consideration if they are really trying to lure IC to Penrith.

We are well into the Coach killing season.
Griffen axed, Trent walks, Bennett going, Mary under the pump.
Plenty of ex’s watching closely. Dez, Toovey, Cartwright, Madge ect.
Hopefully with all the coaching turmoil some quality first graders come onto the market.

If we were in the market for a coach, and of course our coach has already said he is at Concord for two more years so I guess it’s only hypothetical, anyway I would take Barrett on the condition he brings Kelly and Marty with him!!!
