No problem..it's your opinion..just like it others who maybe see things differently..

I can point out the things Brooks did well in the game ..but not much point really cause you will just call him a turd ..I can see why some had him in points certainly not 3 but a point yeah..

You have watched enough to surely know he was arguably our weakest player out there, with Thompson and Marsters.
And also to know that anyone voting for Brooks last week either has an agenda or no idea whatsoever.
If they vote for Brooks that's fine with me. I'm just curious. No need to shoot me down.

It's like that Ruan Sims who voted Dally M without looking. And look at that game a few weeks back where Gary Belcher gave Brooks 3 points. Even the most hardened Brooks fan didn't give him those points on here.
I simply question whether people voting even watched the game and if they did, can justify why their reasoning.
Isn't it fair to question people's reasoning? Isn't that what these boards are for?
 
@bigsiro that’s a fair point, think he’s only saying no need to totally shoot others down, I have spoken to you before on previous version of this forum bro. Obviously brooks need to be better and you’ll find nobody in more agreement of that than me, next year will have to be judgement day

Ok I'll give it a go..Brooks was heavily involved in our 1st TRY putting Mbye into space who found Thompson..he then put the kick in for Matterson's TRY...his long kicking game was good in the 1st half finding space or giving the ball to them 10m out of their line ..In the 2nd he struggled when the Cows got on top of our pack and some of his kicks were poor ..we also had very little ball so wasn't doing much..he did put Lawrence into space at one point..his defence was also rock solid as it has been all year making 21 tackles missing only 2..he ran for 98m which is a bit down on what it has been but still at the high end for a half..


There then was a kick that went deep into the in goal that Kahu had to field when we were under the pump…Cows then made an error that set…Then he got a repeat set…then another when he bombed across field …Then we scored to retake the lead…he then put Thompson over but was ruled No TRY…this was all in the final 7mins of regular time…

Yes he missed his FG attempt in GP it was deflected …sometimes the opposition do good things too…

So I reasonably see why some posters would have given him a point or two

I could go one-for-one re why I think he stunk it up but i think you’ve made your point.
Not like you have to justify yourself to me, but at least with reasoning I can agree to disagree.
 
Just out of curiosity @bigsiro which player do you actually like? You obviously hate Brooks so I’m curious who you think is doing a good job.
 
I had Brooks as our best player in the 3, 2, 1 last week and I think he was easily our best player. I think he has to improve in that he should have slotted the field goal attempt although his run and pass to Lawrence was the right option.

Geo makes good points.
