Looking at Brooks in the change room he does not give a stuff

He is not a leader….a follower

The problem for this team is that Brooks is our best tackler.

Talua and Roberts are worse tacklers and the Storm knew all about it.
Talau may improve with a year in reserves but Roberts best form is a long ago memory.

James Tamou mentioned “there were a lot of underlying issues we’ve gotta sort out and it started against Parramatta last week.”
What are these “ underlying issues”?

my opinion of roberts is all his confidence comes from his attack. if he's attacking well his defence picks up too. lucy cuts all his ball and as such has to look for good attacking in bad positions rather than early ball in good positions

Mate, it all about having long term contracts to get on easy street. Ask our Packer.

What are these “ underlying issues”?

One of them could be a captain who struggles to play 30 minutes and those minutes ar ordinary

He did his part on the field tonight mate, it’s the bludgers on the field that don’t give a stuff in the change room that bother me. Brooks is going good right now!

Brooks had one of the best games in a team beaten by sixty in the history of the game.

He was the opposite of our problem tonight.

The people that should be sacked will not be ..they are not in the footy Dept ...been saying this for a long time the club is a mess !

Go and watch the try early in the first half, Luciano Leilua moves up too quick and there is a moment where he could have propped off his right foot and hit the Storm forward ball and all and saved a try but instead of going into contact he chooses to avoid it and let’s in a soft try. He chose to let in a try. He then let in several others before being hooked. If he gets picked for Wests Tigers again the club is a farce. Forget bashing Madge we have guys who aren’t even trying.

Tuilagi starts & Luciano to the bench
Seyfarth 13

I’ve never been more convinced Luciano isn’t a starter

Madge took them to Noosa 2 days early for a camp bonding session, so he can see the issue, as I eluded to 7 weeks ago, there are 17 players not a team and that’s understandable given the diversity of their backgrounds. This is where Sheens can help. I don’t know how he does it but it’s definately one of his strengths.

He got hooked.

That edge was embarrassing.

Luciano, Roberts, Nofo.

He brought Blore on to try and clean up some defence... then he went down.

We all knew that edge was going to fail.
Everyone but Madge.

can't agree with the diverse backgrounds comment.

they are all professionals and should know how to play footy.

they all spend more time with each other than their families. they train together every day and all go through the same hardships on the field.

The sad thing for me is that we've been this way for most of the season and the whole lack of accountability and leadership once again took centre stage.
But this time everything came undone and unravelled. All our worst nightmares came true tonight because the things that needed to be addressed 14 or 5 rounds ago, continue not to be.
No offence but I think it's as simple as being that we were found out for how unprofessional we really are as a team. The poor standards, structures and effort were exposed big time, by a team who are the best at doing so.
Who honestly doesn't know where our (WTs) weaknesses lie?
Any good attacking team will be lapping it up against us.

I'll tell you one thing though, I still don't know who our best team is and what our strengths are. Most teams are going from strength to strength but we show little progression as a team.

I didn’t read too much into that, I think Tamou just trotted out well used lines without thinking too much - the commentators tried to light a match under that comment

Madge is delusional...presser was basically "Melb showed us the standard we want...momentum in the modern game...we know what we want to be....need to find our shoulders on D"....

He could have just walked in a said “we’re trash” and walked straight back out
