Connor Watson

Roosters won't release Watson unless his performances suffer hugely, similar to Moses really, he's too valuable for them as a depth option.

According to Rothfield Tigers have also signed Eastwood. He wouldn't know.
Connor Watson would be a fantastic acquisition to our roster.
If we were lucky enough to sign him, most on this forum would be wetting their pants.

Honestly….if we sign Eastwood my opinion of cleary wont be any higher than the last muppet we had in charge

I'm not excited by this possible signing but, if true we should wait and see how Ivan uses him and how he performs before we compare Ivan to JT

Not being overly excited with the news Eastwood might have signed there is an upside ..he is a seasoned NRL campaigner ,brings experience also the dogs would be paying a good chunk of his contract . Probable a sensible signing for $$ value not costing the earth.

Honestly my dogs fans mates rate Eastwood & would prefer to see cap eating players like Toleman or Mumbai leave.. shame we couldn't snare Elliott as we are at least 1 2nd rower short

There is no upside for Eastwood even if the Dogs are paying 99% of his contract. Sure he was a handy player a few years ago, but now I am afraid he is only strength is giving away penalties and making unforced errors. Might be a tad harsh on him, but I am not sure why we would even consider giving him a run

I was told we pulled out of making Eastwood an offer as we would only take him if the Dogs paid most of his salary. Would be good if SMoking Gun could confirm.
He is really past his best and heading downhill.

is this for real, is it a done deal.? my young bloke reckons he has been released immediately.

Think it's for 2018 season.. I could be wrong though

nofo needs to improve his defence if he wants to make the side.

Yeah taane should get first crack. Id be happy with watson at fullback.

Why? because hes like moylan,jt. always wants to be involved and get his hands on the ball.
