Controversy Surrounding Souths V Bulldogs Ref. Decision

Should the tackle on Adam Reynolds been worth a penalty? Reynolds had a foot on the ground when the tackle was made and this was the only foot that was tackled.

If there was any proof that very many NRL games are decided by one silly referee decision this was the one. Referees are chosen more for there mindset than their accuracy.

No, if it was ruled as a late tackle MAYBE but in such a controversial moment no way, the tackle wasn't dangerous? What are we playing, this game is turning into….. you all know what, this a joke, it is beyond pathetic.

I have never enjoyed something so MUCHH

IDK what's right but the look on Graham's face and Klemmer getting sent off. They are all thugs- I know cricket and nrl are completely different but imagine a player showing dissent like that at an umpire regardless of whether they're right or wrong.

Horrible decisions throughout the game, the press conference will be interesting

I'm sure there'll be plenty of arguments against the decision but I'd like to say the following:

Usually when you charge down, you put your arms up high and jump up. Graham was most likely trying to charge down but he dived directly into the legs of a kicker. Maybe he was trying to dive at the ball near the legs? That's just not right. In the end, an injury did occur- freak accident maybe.

Yeah I agree to the point Graham's noise to the ref uncalled for but even as someone that is not a Canterbury fan, they did get the rough end of the stick. With this call in particular.

He made a tackle, he is allowed to tackle.

It wasn't a great decision, but the way the Dogs carried on afterwards, namely Graham and Klemmer was disgraceful.

Let the Bulldogs have a taste of there own medicine  .

But yeah it was very controversial.

I was actually rooting for the Dogs as I can't stand the souffs scum , but yeah it was the worst refereed game I've seen in a long time !

probably an accident but you're still not allowed to ''attack" the legs of a kicker. its the rules. but they never usually give penalties in the last 10 mins for games like that
who knows though
bulldogs players have a right to feel irritated but i didnt think the call was that bad

Be careful what you wish for Forevertiger. We may soon have the same referee and exactly the same penalty in front of the posts may go against us. Deja Vu - oh no!

Wouldn't want to be at Olympic Park station at this very moment. I'd rather go naked than be caught wearing a Souths jersey atm
