Cruise boat off Japan has ten confirmed cases from 31 cases tested

3717 on the boat ....you'd expect that figure to rise

And a couple of Aussies confirmed amongst them.

Friend of ours parents did the exact cruise last year

My folks went on the same cruise ship which had the SARS virus
They were fine and got a bargain !

Government buckling under pressure and lifting the travel ban on students ..they will be asked have you been in or near Hubei province ? What answer do you think they will give to get back into the country !
If you have kids in years 11 and 12 at school be aware !

I've seen some pretty disturbing footage of how Chinese authorities are dealing with people on this. Probably more disturbing is the number of dead bodies in the street and people just turn around and walk the other way.

Reminds me of the old AIDs joke

What do people with AID's eat .......anything that fits under the door

Still when you compare both diseases , 6000 people a day contract AID's and it has killed 63 million

If anyone needed anymore proof who actually runs our country this is it .. as you have said if this is how the Chinese government treat there own people do you really think they give a rats about us .. it’s all about money!

I have no doubt. The footage I've seen is quite disturbing. No sign of a democracy with what I'm seeing.

Nah, not at all, its true whats been reported, if you arent wearing a mask you get arrested, there are too many dead to bury so theres mass cremations, its also been going on long before December. Everyday shes balling her eyes out cause shes had friends effected from it as shes from Henan which is just above Wuhan. Pretty rough.

I wonder if we'll ever know the real death toll from this.

Youll never find the true info from the PRC. When they were reporting it to be 10,000 in the Western media it was already into 100K plus easily with what the Chinese population were saying. God knows what the real tally is today? There would be so many just dead in villages that will never make the official tally even if the commies wanted to do a real tally. They have no idea what the actual number is of their population as it stands anyway. Millions live off the grid. They have amnesties every few years so people living off the grid can become citizens i.e they were born during the 1 child policy and are hidden away living with relatives etc. My wifes sister went through this. She was 14 before an amnesty was called so she could come and live with her real mother. She had been living in another village with an Aunt. Staggers belief.

Of course they are which is why it got released on a Saturday to limit media exposure, this government is stuffed i get there's economic pressure but then theres the threat of a pandemic. I know which one id rather avoid.

One of the women that i work with is Chinese and she was saying that nearly everyone is locked down in their apartments.
Their food orders are taken online and delivered to them as no one is allowed to leave the buildings.
She said it was much worse than the Government were saying.

Yeah me too. It was a bit hard to watch actually, as was the scenes showing the stress levels and sheer exhaustion of medical staff in the Chinese hospitals.

I'm living in Germany at the moment and it's a growing concern here with the outbreak in Italy. Outside of China and South Korea, Italy has the next highest infection rate. I think there's like 400+ cases there.

I teach in an international school and they've started canceling sports carnivals and inter-school events. And we've received emails warning about potential closure of the school if infection rates in Germany rise.

Allegations on the news last night I think it was which mentioned Australian universities allegedly offering to pay students $7500 to fly back to Australia indirectly from China because they're missing out on money. Absolutely disgusting if true and if this happens they should be heavily fined at a bare minimum.

Yes, That's insane. I'd like to know how that accords with the emergency measures just announced. Fines at minimum, sackings preferred.

The power of money can never be understimated.Money is always one of the 2 main reasons for corruption keeping control is the other.
