Nobody who has been to Liverpool or Campbelltown in the previous 14 days will be allowed into Queensland from midday today (14/7)

How do you prove you haven't been to either of those locations?

Those infected Vics were at Kurnell and Caringbah even though their Premier requested they not travel.

Apparently travellers into Queensland claimed they were not in Victoria. Boarder people checked their mobile phones data which retains/identifies your location movements history.
Showed that the6 were in fact from/in Victoria so They were turned back on that basis.

Yep, big brother has been able to watch for a good while now.

The 18 that have come forward for testing in QLD and likely more that also visited that particular pub, on top of the ADF personnel and my testing experience, again amplified the potential spread of this virus.

Edit; As for those lying to get across the borders, turning them back without fining them is too lenient for mine, as they have already been shown as irresponsible for attempting it in the first place.

Lying about this commutable Virus should be made a criminal offence and until this happens the general public will just float the law !
I feel the Feds need to step in and legislate laws federally for COVID-19 then this takes away the state’s independent laws and makes it a National law that you can not hide from .. . not a big brother fan but something needs to be done in this case! We had to have small pox and cholera vaccination certificates to travel this was Federal ..

Doesn't the federal government want the borders open?

I'm actually really annoyed at people not doing the right thing, I'm supposed to be at a funeral in Rockhampton right now but decided at the last moment not to go as I had been in the Liverpool area the last 2 weekends looking to purchase a car. I decided better be safe than risk any small chance of spreading this to another state but we have people who intentionally breach the rules.

Damn i cant go up to QLD....well my chances of getting up there now are as slim as there chances of winning SAO this year...........

There needs to be harsher penalties put in place for people deliberately or recklessly breaking some of these rules, absolutely. I only hope the real world judiciary system is better (fairer, consistent and more equal) than the NRL one.

The NRL will ask players and officials residing in south-west Sydney to move out of their homes if the Queensland government doesn't provide the code with a travel exemption after new restrictions came into effect on Tuesday...........

Crossroads outbreak traced by NSW Health to Victoria. A lot of explaining needs to be done about why the border was not shut two or three weeks earlier. Big business interests over safety?

Anyone heard from Alan Joyce about crowding passengers on aircraft?

Might wanna ask @Snake. I thought it was only the states controlled by the lefties that had no clue.

Really annoys me how the casino is always exempt from everything. They're exempt from the new covid restrictions facing all other pubs and clubs, despite having a confirmed case.

Just like they were earlier exempt from the lockout laws, just like they were exempt from the smoking laws, etc etc

Money, money, money mate! They wont want to close down anything that takes people’s money and generates huge revenue, despite the fact that the lotteries are not affected at all.

Well done mate. More should follow your example. I was going to go to the CSS match but I’m not now. Misses has family in QLD and has a visit planned shortly.

Yeah, it was a really tough decision, but the right one. I was extremely close to the person, the last time I saw her was when she and her husband travelled down to go to the Panther v Tigers game on the Thursday at Penrith last year or the year before. It was a tough day yesterday knowing I wasn't there.

an inconvenient truth for chairman Don Tzse!
'Victorian health authorities have confirmed a link between two COVID-19 cases in people who attended the Black Lives Matter protest in Melbourne’s CBD just over a month ago, and the cluster of at least 242 cases in public housing towers in the city’s inner northwest.'
