Not at all. I'm just trying to put the whole situation in perspective especially in the context of how we and in general western nations have handled the crisis.

Just for transparency I do have 10's of millions of dollars invested in the Chinese government.

Honestly I don't give a flying whatever about the Chinese government. I'm just trying to understand this whole situation rationally and calmly.

Previously I've found Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon likable but in this situation I can see how incompetent he is. As for the Italian health system I have no idea if it is good or bad but I suspect any country that has that amount of infections is going to cop it bad. The point is the system gets overwhelmed and this is from a virus that is basically pretty weak.

This is what I'm trying to get at. If you want to criticize China be my guest. They should cop it. If you think they are the only problem here you are very wrong. Personally I have a lot more confidence in China than any other western government when it comes to handling this situation.

China should have been locked down from the get go. What did the rest of the world think would happen by letting people come and go?

China took actions like that. The western world is now taking similar actions but they are behind the curve. We also don't have the same mentality in relation to how to handle these situations because we don't realize how bad it is. The concept of social distancing is alien to us. For instance I saw Matty Johns laughing and shaking Blake Fergusons hand the other day.

Italy is a totally different system to us..they have 3 Major hospitals one in Milan one in Rome and their University Hospital in Perugia ..the rest even in the larger Cities are more like a County Practice..they also have very few GP's or medical centres...you get sick there you go to a hospital..it is no wonder it spread so rapidly...the care you receive is exceptional though..this I know from experience..

Absolutely. Can you see the top 5% of that country foregoing their stake in its future to secure the health of the bottom line?

Some of whom are cast off as inadequate to represent the family name... lot of moving parts in what I just said but that was the core issue of what I was alluding to and not any perceived racism rant as many of my close kin and those dear to me are my Asian family and co-people.

It’s much more than basic politics involved at play here and as I also said let’s instead all wish for every other loving soul who ain’t got it so great, to be able to get through this all.

I wonder how capitalism can survive this unless it has a "pause" button we haven't seen before. I'm not trying to be inflammatory, my thoughts are based on the fact that markets seem to be struggling to balance supply and demand and western consumers no longer understand why they can't buy their way to instant gratification.

If there wasn't a chance that people I love, and many of our elders, might suffer terribly then I would find it very interesting.

Coronavirus was made in a Chinese laboratory and released on the population to correct their population spread that had been caused by the one child policy.

In other words there were way too many old people that could no longer financially contribute and not enough young people to support them, or provide the government with enough income.

My wife’s family know I like beer. So there is bottle after bottle put in front of me starting from breakfast. But it doesn’t affect me. Drank 17 long necks with my wife’s son and I carried him to his bed. I was still sober!

Banks have been very helpful to people recently. I know one bank that will pay three months worth of payments for customers impacted by the fires. Pay not pause. They also offered cash to the same people as well.

The cynical me says they are just trying to earn some good will but Who cares they are helpIng those people and business that have been impacted by the fires and corona as well.
