I heard a commentator down here describe it as being like watching a replay of your football team play in a losing match. (Can you imagine that?). You're still supporting your team but you know that the outcome is inevitable.
It's just getting so frustrating and unlike you guys down south that always recieved clear answers to each and every question, even if it took hours, along with clear instructions. They tried to limit restrictions at first, realised their errors, admitted them and made better choices.
Your state went through it, learnt and provided virtual blueprints on what and what not to do for the world, yet the state next door, having gotten geographically lucky with the Northern Beaches, decided to ignore the lessons from within, let alone of their neighbours.
The role of the CHO is diminished in NSW compared to adjoining states, having only a voice instead of decision making power. A minister/s with health in the name, rather than health professionals making decisions during a health crisis.

You are sitting there praising Victoria, but Dan Andrews has been totally panned by the left, right and the centre for his handling of the pandemic in Victoria. Not to mention his Belt and Road deal...It's strange that you would have that opinion, when most people on the left would say his leadership has been atrocious.

Since covid hit our shores I have complimented the premiers of all states, including Gutwein and Marshall constantly, Gladys on occasion, plus the federal government as well. Nationally usually only when they have changed tack to implement better policy in response to the virus, still, all Liberals. If you bother to look you will surely find both my criticism or praise on Covid to be consistent on policy over party.
Seeing you brought this up, irrelevant as it is, with belts and roads you will also find consistency from all the major parties when that was signed.
I consider myself centre-left, nothing more, nothing less and Andrews would romp in if up for election. Huge majorities await all leaders nearing election considered to have handled the virus appropriately.
