I am VERY happy to leave Earl be, I have no desire to engage with someone like that. I do expect him to acknowledge that I never stated that vaccines dont work and if he had any integrity he'd apologise.

A big thank you to all our health care professionals looking after all the Covid patients. Many seem to forget you put your own health and lives at risk everyday. I'll do my bit by washing my hands, keeping a distance, wearing a mask and staying safe at home.

I still remember the crew of the Ruby Princess with the thank you Illawarra banner on the stern.

My wife is a frontline health worker, it is tough at the moment. She is coming home stressed, worried and in tears most days. She isn't directly on a covid ward but works in rehab with a lot of vunerable patients so is feeling the strain of providing them with the service they need while protecting them from the virus in a hospital that has multiple outbreaks. The resources are definitely strained already and will only get worse as numbers rise.

It's up to you but people have died who if they'd been vaccinated probably would be alive. We've had a lot of AZ available for a long time.

Check with your doctor if you have concerns or wait but you are taking a risk no matter what option you take.

Such is my main concern around opening up at the levels currently suggested and disgusting when one on here mocked health professionals being held up as heroes during this pandemic a few weeks back.

To see frontline health workers suffering for months on end to accommodate the benefits to others doesn't sit well with me. There is little mental respite for those in ICU in such times and the additional protective measures are an added burden.
