The unvaxxed wont take this lying down...As for me Im no way an antivaxer,I have had plenty of vacines inserted in me over the years...I have many doubts about an experimental drug with no peer review or approval,only an EUA,which isnt a licensed approval..As for me I was told by my Dr that I could still be in the minority of people to get BLOODCLOTS that I have battled before...I told him that I dont want to become a statistic even though it is a small % ...
Its my choice and I stand by my health first and foremost,my family is important to me and I will look after them through thick and thin,,,EVEN COVID....

Thats the one the Doc recommended...LET ME BE CLEAR...I have no problem with people who choose to get vaxxesd if they think it will help them...NO PROBLEM AT ALL...I choose what I think is best for me,and as I said earlier I had treatment for bloodclots and it wasnt pleasant....just to let you know,I spent 3/4 months having blood taken twice a week to check my INR levels and a recommended WARPHARIN treatment ...my arms were like dart boards and Warpharin is called rat poison...been there done that....GOD BLESS ALL...

I wouldn't allow unvaccinated freedoms until we see how this progresses and it wouldn't be this year.

Each to his own but it's really close to unvaccinated getting freedoms. I don't see the big issue. You wait 2 months and you get the same freedoms plus for whatever reason you get to remain unvaccinated.

Zig, I have taken Pfizer because of clotting amalgamation risk. I have been taking Warfarin for 28 years this November. It was recommended by my cardiologist.

I would wager if you've been subject to clots previously you probably have co morbidities and it would be less risky to have the vaccine than take your chances with the virus.

TT, its your decision whether to get vaxxed or not, Im not trying to influence your decision, but I do want to clear something up. YES the vaccines were given EUA (in the US) but that doesnt mean that there was no peer review or trials. The vaccines did go through Phase 1, 2 and partially Phase 3 trials. It is effectively in the middle of one of the biggest Phase 4 trials in the history of Pharmaceuticals. Over 3.5 BILLION people worldwide have received at least one dose. That is a hell of a lot of data. It is also too many people worldwide to keep serious adverse reactions secret. There is unbelievable amount of data on the short term safety of the vaccine and it is clearly overwhelmingly safer in the short term than catching the virus.

So Townsville Airport on Friday had the person at the Airport and my sister ,partner and daughter has been notified to stay at home get tested and 24 hours after her test if negative she is free to return to normality

We haven't been notified , but the Toensville Netball girls were all on the same flight as my sister and my daughters team played Townsville on Monday evening

She we be concerned we haven't been contacted by Qld Netball or the Sunshine Coast netball association .....

The unvaccinated do not want to get to excited there is a proviso to there freedom that 90% have to be fully vaccinated. That is a hard marker that December date was a projection to 90%.

Need a pearls of wisdom thread

I’m basing my thoughts on a response to intervention behavioural science model.

In this instance the behaviour we are targeting is people getting vaccinated and the intervention is the incentive of additional activities you can do.

The model works like this:

Tier 1: 80% of people with do the right thing
Tier 2: 15% of people need an intervention (the incentive)
Tier 3: 5% of people need an individualised intervention

For NSW to get to 90% we need to have the intervention to target the Tier 2 people. This is where the people on the fence come from so with the incentive gone we could potentially lose addition people from this group. Hopefully we have successfully moved enough people from this group to get the number as high as possible however taking away the intervention will have an impact.

Non vaccinated freedoms should not come in until 95-97% double vaccinated.

Gladys is a dope for letting the non vaccinated off the hook by making an early unnecessary announcement and she needs to admit she made a mistake and fix it as soon as possible.

Unfortunately she seems to be establishing a bit of a history of making poor choices and making stupid irresponsible announcements, makes you wonder how she ever got this far in life?
