Restaurants have started promoting discounts to the double vaxxed. I'm all for that if it can keep bussiness open. Frankly it's cheaper to allow only vaccinated in then to have to shut for 2 weeks to Deep clean.

The shame is that the fully vaxxed can also spread the virus ...not just the unvaxxed....how will Gladys portray that when the unvaxxed arent allowed their God given freedoms...have a good think about that ...

You know that Glady's can't do anything about it if it's a private business. Plus the companies would lose more money if they had to deep clean. The company I work at would lose 2.6 million. It's actually cheaper for then to lose the non vaxxed clients.

Gladys to me is way less conservative than what I would be. It's Sep 30th and we open up on October 11th. She is stating that unvaccinated get their freedoms December 2 or something like that.

I wouldn't allow unvaccinated freedoms until we see how this progresses and it wouldn't be this year.

Each to his own but it's really close to unvaccinated getting freedoms. I don't see the big issue. You wait 2 months and you get the same freedoms plus for whatever reason you get to remain unvaccinated.

The unvaccinated do not want to get to excited there is a proviso to there freedom that 90% have to be fully vaccinated. That is a hard marker that December date was a projection to 90%.

Good info. I'd make it 95%. It's good to have that 90% target though.

My mates Mum been asked to come out of retirement as she is a psychologist. My mates brother said they’re rushing med students through and recruiting overseas to cope with anticipated increase on the strain of hospitals of “living with COVID” scary stuff

I think the QLD, TAS, WA premiers have had the right pragmatic approach compared to our Gladys

Wonderful, NSW will do the heavy lifting for the country once again by accepting all the incoming travellers. They'd better be fully vaccinated before being accepted.

They might try to spin it as heavy lifting, but they're actually trying to leverage an economic advantage over the other states by doing it (particularly WA).

Probably needs some kind of diversion from the 'significant announcement' (likely resignation) expected from Gladys in 9 minutes (following the news that ICAC are investigating whether her dealings breached public trust.)
