When things starts to open back up for fully vaccinated people, does that also mean only fully vaccinated workers can go back to non-essential jobs? Or do the restriction only apply to customers? My wife is trying to find out because her workplace is opening back up, they don't seem to one and neither does the helpline.

Also, does anyone know much about how workers rights/health & safety/duty of care come in to play? My wife is pregnant, and it hasn't been easy (she has HG and GD, so already considered a higher risk pregnancy), so she is at a higher risk when it comes to Covid. She's due to get her second vaccination a week or so after her workplace opens back up, but is worried about going back to work before the 2 week period (if at all), but is also worried about losing her job over it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated (we've tried talking to the helpline and to safe work NSW, she's seeing a doctor today and we'll try fair work next week).

There is a big case in the high court in Sydney at the moment
When the decision comes down one way or another you will know but if the guy wins it will be illegal to ask for vaccinated status and to force vaccination on someone or discriminate against unvaccinated

Could be a disaster when it comes to companies trying to avoid deep cleaning. Next thing you know deep cleaning will be discrimination against the unvaccinated.

Have you read lately about deep cleaning of late you can do it yourself overnight with some chemicals I was thinking you had to get people in with Hazmat suites on or something they made it cheap and easy

And then a 2 week holiday is needed for everyone working in the premises.

No they cut that out you can trade next day

So there's no point letting the vaccinated out first and having people check in to restaurants and venues. I guessing you think the government is going over the top with making venues become vaxxed only until at least December.

Are we not all in this together?

Personally over this whole vaccinated non vaccinated crap .. we have been vaccinated and we say it’s now time to fully open .There are going to be thousands a day infected and 100,s will die , the whole argument is a non event moving forward get Vaccinated and have a chance at what life use to be .. you do not want to be vaccinated your CHOICE and suffer the consequences open everything up for everyone !
This is happening overseas to countries that have high vaccination rates so what’s the point in arguing ,this is what’s coming .
It does not matter keeping the unvaccinated out of anywhere as once the masks come of it will be spreading everywhere and the vaccinated will contract it anyway .. it’s a con keeping unvaccinated out what for a month that’s going to be cold comfort for vaccinated people doing there weekly shopping surrounded by spreaders !

That is furthest from the true. Israel is not 95% full vaxxed at all. As of the 30th of sept they are only 64.%

A peek behind the curtain?

There has been an announcement of a breakthrough drug called Molnupiravir. It is an oral therapeutic that the one clinical study carried out on only 775 patients showed it roughly halved the chances of being hospitalised (From 14% to 8%). In and of itself, not a bad thing.

Where this makes me roll my eyes is the contrast with Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective). There have been over 65 studies into Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) as both a therapeutic and preventative. 32 of them high standard randomised double blind tests. Tess Lawrie carried out a Meta Analysis of the best 22 studies (highest quality tests) and found tht it had a 62% improvement in hospitalisation and death.
https://flccc.net/flccc-Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective)-in-the-prophylaxis-and-treatment-of-covid-19/

Ok I know everyone is rolling their eyes with me on a Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) kick again but Im seriously not, Im not advocating its use (I would love to see government trials though). My point is the almost transparent shenanigans that are at play here.

When the FLCCC released its initial findings on Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective), Merck came out quickly in February with a statement that there is no safety data regarding the use of Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective), despite the fact that they held the patent for it and sold hundreds of millions of doses worldwide over 50 years. Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) is no longer under patent and can be made cheaply by anyone.

Merck held the now lapsed patent for Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) and released a statement that it is unsafe. Guess who owns the patent for Molnupiravir?

Watch this get fast tracked.

Could do as the company's CEO is the daughter of senator Manchin that holds so much sway in the US with the balance of power.

Had my first covid test today, as requested by work.

Came back negative.
What an unpleasant experience though.

Line was massive too.
Got there early and still 45 minutes wait.

That’s nothing. Sometimes I’ve had to wait over 2 hours. The nose swab isn’t fun.

Some places are in and out apparently.

The local one opens at 830 and I got there at 820 and the line was up the street.
Cars pushing in as well.

Was a massive inconvenience.
First world problems eh.

Better than having covid tho.

Same ?

Till my boss called and said all staff need to get it done due to a close contact.

Highly do not recommend.
Cringed hard.

Only if you have to of course.
