I keep an eye on world events, have family in London, and it’s clear to see that the vax is having an impact here. It’s not perfect but it’s got us back to semi normal. We have a sad and sick joke of a man masquerading as a leader of a rabble of spivs, frauds and crims who, somehow, managed to convince enough dumb people, fed a load of tripe from Murdoch and Clive Palmer, to vote for them a few years ago.

Mate, my own mother won’t take the thing, it’s her choice. I respect that.I also respect the rights of business owners to protect themselves . Which means limits on what unvaxxed people can do.

The govt didn’t ask to get caught up in this shit fight. Whichever way they go they lose. At this stage I give them a pass mark.

But isnt it funny that your mum and myself have taken a chance on not getting it.and yet this new varient came from 4 fully vaxxed people.....

At no stage have I said the vaccine is perfect. Nor have any scientific studies. There is enough evidence to suggest it does limit transmission, so it’s worthwhile.

We would be stupid to shut again. Variants and more deadly ones will have an impact on those unvaccinated. They have a choice and have to accept the risks and repercussions. As I did with my decision. It’s simple. But we would be causes much more problems in the community if we just buckle and keep shutting down - it’s exactly what is desired by those who manufactured it.
