Whatever you reckon dude.

The lizard people are the best critical thinkers I've ever seen.

Coming back to reality. Case numbers are up. We are no longer behind the curve compared to the rest of the world. I can see a 4th Omicron wave happening now and we are going to cop it the same as the rest of the world.

I really really hope it's not as virulent which the initial data seems to be suggesting.

As do I, though if it is more transmissible and can more readily get past some of the vaccines, sheer numbers can still cause trouble.

Booked to fly to Cairns prior to Xmas and travel the far north until NYE, so hoping that it doesn't get a hold here in NSW or elsewhere at all and especially so in the next few weeks. Would have preferred that my young bloke and his peers could be vaccinated beforehand, but will have to wait until January.

Have to conform with the testing requirements etcetera, but a small price to pay to be able to travel more safely in such times and despite restrictions we were also able to get to see some more of WA earlier in the year.

Pfizer recently fought against having documents released by the FDA concenring adverse events from their Covid shots. They wanted these documents sealed for 55 years.
However, a group called Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency Documents sued the FDA for the release of these papers. They were successful
For the full documentation see https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf
In short, in the 90 days following the EUA release of the 'Vaccine", they recorded 1223 deaths and 158000 adverse reactions including fetal deaths, spontaneous abortions and more.
Safe and effective? Yeah, sure!

Safe and effective? Yeah, sure!

Yeti, have you actually read that document? I dont think you have. It actually pretty much proves it is safe and effective.

There have NOT been 158000 people have adverse reactions. According to that document there has been 42086 people have adverse reactions, some having more than one. The VAST majority of adverse reactions in that document are mild such as headache, swollen glands, rash etc. Some people (like me) have more than one adverse reaction like headache, swollen glands.

There have been over 8Billion Pfizer doses administered of Pfizer. This document is based on end of February 2021 so lets assume that only a quarter (pro rata) were given by then. That means that according to that document, you have 0.6 in one million risk of dying from the vaccine. You have 21 in a million chance of adverse reaction. These are VERY small risks. If you gave 2Billion people peanut butter you would kill more people.

For a comparison, approximately 1 in a hundred people who catch Covid die.

Your document actually proves that Pfizer is safe and effective and a MUCH better risk/benefit return than catching Covid.

Yep. It's extremely safe and effective. I find it funny that they even try not to release the information unless you made that up which may be true.

I assume a reasonable way to view this is 1223 deaths out of say 4 billion people.

Just some random death statistics:-

1. Texting while driving causes 6000 deaths in the US alone.
2. Falling out of bed kills 450 people annually in the U.S.

The US has say 350k people.

Let's add another to the long list of proof that the anti-vaxxers provide that is hilarious. It's comedy gold.

What a funny world we live in. Don't give me facts. Give me narratives.

Here is a narrative for you Earl

[U.S. COVID-19 Deaths in 2021 Surpass 2020 Total](https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20211122/us-covid-deaths-2021-surpass-2020-total)

Orange Man deaths: 385,000

Brandon deaths: 771,000

and Brandon had the advantage of the safe and effective vaccines that the Orange Man delivered.

Now that's a Narrative.

Are you pushing an anti-vax narrative because yet again that article is not anti-vaccine.

Vermont has the lowest COVID-19 death rate per 100,000 people since the pandemic began, according to the Journal. The state also has the most vaccinated population, with 72% fully vaccinated.

Mississippi has the highest death rate since the pandemic began, the newspaper reported. The state is among the least vaccinated states, with 47% fully vaccinated.

Are you stating that Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon saved lives whereas Biden is killing them ?

Honestly that is bizarre.

What is bizare Earl is your incoherent response. Im pushing no narrative but the truth. If that is your conclusion after reading the article, well it says more about you than me Champ.

Lets go Brandon

Brandon is doing a truly fantastic job

Welcome back.

A much better risk / benefit return for who.??
I mean I haven’t read the document but the statistics are pretty clear. If you’re young and healthy your odds of serious illness or dying from Covid are probably less than having a vaccine injury, and given the community value of these vaccines is minimal, what’s the benefit?
You sound like there’s a one size fit’s all solution.
Wrong.

In case you missed what I was getting at, that was a welcome back for @Tiger5150 who said he was out of here and not coming back.

Unless I am mistaken, this was his first post in around 3 weeks.

What ever you or anyone else may think of @tiger5150 or anyone else on this forum, I am not happy to see regular posters leave this forum and stop contributing because of changes that may have come into effect or disputes that may have occurred with other forum members.

So if my "Welcome back" comment was misunderstood or was taken as being a shot at anyone, I have to apologize because even though it was slightly tongue in cheek, it was for the most part a pretty genuine comment.

I hope that some of those forum members that said they were leaving and were never coming back are still lurking somewhere in the back ground and at some stage will feel that they can come back and continue contributing to this forum because even if we cannot always agree on everything, there is room for differing views.

The way I see it, there is nothing wrong with a bit of light hearted banter among forum members without the need for anyone to get too upset and getting personal and going for the jugular.

As many have already said, come the end of the day, the main reason we are here is because of our common support of the Wests Tigers and we just need to be a little bit more tolerant of each other.

Many of us have had many athletic conversations in regard to the Covid virus, irrespective if we agree on things that have been installed to "protect"the community or we dont, but somewhere the line has to be drawn on certain situations...
A Melbourne couple who reside in Victoria applied to get an exemption to cross the border of W.A to identify the body of their 20 year old son who committed suicide in the state...THEY WERE REFUSED by Magowan because he wants to keep his state safe..the couple were both double vaxxed...
The couple relied on people of the community to get their sons personal things....
Source 10 news.....

Now we can all have huge conversations for and against in regard to this topic and call each other con theorists, lunatics extremists or whatever...but in my eyes this is completely wrong from whatever point of view you carry....
Hopefully we all put aside our own personal beliefs and consider this situation with an open compassionate heart ...God bless this family in their time of grief....

Do you mean they had to Quarantine for 14 days when they arrived or came back...
It still doesnt detract from the grief they would be experiencing and compassion surely could have been regarded with in this case especially that they are double vaxxed..
