I work across a few clinics, all our staff were told today that the settings we've had since lockdown are still in effect. We will see unvaxxed but request a negative test. Vast majority comply. Masks are still mandatory in clinics, compliance was amazingly high. Thank you sane ppl of Sydney!

I was out a little bit today and most people were still wearing masks and checking in even though this was a personal choice

???
I saw 1 person, looking paranoid and weird.

The venue I worked at before I was terminated because I was one of the unclean that didnt get the miracle clot shot,is going to extend the restrictions until after the school holidays because there are so many senior people patronise the place...it was put in place by the board of Directors...
Im trying to work out that some of these board members have unvaxxed family members coming to their homes but yet cant go into the venue ...
Cant the unvaxed infect them at their home then when they go into a board meeting or dinner and drinks at the venue, cant they spread this aweful tragic disease Omicron which is far more mild than previous varients...
just asking....

So it’s not the Government forcing the venue to implement these rules…?

Not anymore GEO,it was the businesses personal choice after deliberation...they do have to wear masks if you work in front of house and you still need to social distance apparently, but no need to show vax passports, but you have to QR code in ....this is what I have been told....

QR codes are not law, nor is carrying a phone.

Absolutely correct, but I was refering to the people that were saying unvaxxed shouldnt be let out until we know more about the varient…it seems mild, and business needs to recover from the fallout of the last 18 months…

We right now have a new highly contagious strain that appears to be a 5th wave of the virus. As a precautionary measure it might be wise to dial up our restrictions. Instead we appear to be loosening restrictions.

I agree though that this variant from the data right now appears to be mild.

Do you think we should tighten or loosen restrictions when we get new variants ?

I'll add that so far the data to me means says there won't be a public health emergency. The question is though really about how risk averse or not you are.

I'll add that if Omicron is mild and the unvaccinated don't end up dying or in hospital then @TrueTiger has probably a good reason to feel a little frustrated. The problem for him is that the damage has already been done.

I really hope this is the case because Omicron doesn't look like it will be stopped via the vaccine.

Hahaha 🤣
You actually said that as though ANY strains were stopped by vaccines.. good one 👍

Im not worried one bit about this flu like virus...SA health said its mild....the quicker we open our states and economies the quicker we can go back to the Australia we know, welcoming visitors to our shores and showing immense hospitality to all..
fearmongering by the MSM doesnt help...
I even noted that the PM Morrison said at a dinner and meeting earlier this week..'"the premiers should take a step back and let the people live their lives""sounds like a bit of a poke to the state leaders to wake up to themselves...

Dont panic swaggy,as the varients mutate they get weaker and far less dangerous....science will tell you that and apparently Earl relies heavily on science ...

I hope you are right. I'm telling my wife that this is what it now appears to be like and we just need to relax. The data is backing this assessment up right now but there has to be a massive risk and it's a risk in relation to people's lives.

This is the expectation but if I was running public health policy now I would be more risk averse. We have a highly vaccinated population. South Africa has a high level of resistance but there is a lot of immunity developed from contacting the virus. The response within our society could be different.

The science is the data and it has to be backwards looking. We have previously always been behind the curve so we can use the experiences across the world as a guide. We can't do that as well now.

BUT EARL it appears it is no greater threat than the seasonal flu we get and have got for hundreds of years, its a play by big pharma to make huge dollars...
look at it this way..since this scamdemic has appeared.
big pharma has made billions of dollars,GATES,FAUCCI ETC who are the main stakeholders have also pumped millions in to media, have shares in the hand sanitisers, have shares in the PCR testing equiptment and Gates is the MAJOR DONOR to the WHO....join the dots mate...

So all the talk about the majority in hospitals being Unvaxxed is a myth?

I completely disagree with all of this. There is no conspiracy theory.

Do you who owns Big Pharma - me and you. Seriously I have Super which invests in indexes across the world. All these big companies are owned by me and you.

The virus has killed so many people. Vaccines and restrictions have saved so many lives.

Earl I love conversing with you mate,but.S.A had 11 % national vaccination and were doing extremely well.funny how all of a sudden Omicron comes out of Africa...cant have a low vaxxed country doing far better than 95% fully vaxxed countries can we now....once again join the dots....
