Even if you care nought for people's health, wherever in the world governments have taken a 'she'll be right' attitude to covid, the economic impact has been disastrous (e g. Brazil).

Letting it rip would have a much worse impact on jobs than temporary lockdowns.

Two students at the primary school across the lake from me have tested positive and with sewer results from a little further north at Newcastle it seems that they have again failed in stopping the spread.

Haven't checked if there were any changes since last week, but one could still travel up to 50kms outside Greater Sydney for work with impunity then.
