Just in case some didn’t know, for those under 40 who live in the “hotspot” LGAs in Sydney and have been advised against AZ or just waiting for Pfizer - take advantage of the new priority allocation that opened up today while you can.

My son is 17 and doing his HSC so he already had it. My daughter is 19 and just booked into this this morning for tomorrow.

Same as my daughter. I think she gets the 14th October. It's a long wait until the 2nd dose. This appears to provide better long term immunity anyway so I don't see the big issue.

when do we think kinds under 16 will receive a vaccine or trials etc, it will be interesting with the covid passport as Laundy has come out and said in his hotels it will only be vaccinated people offered service and on planes etc.
I guess that might mean if you have kids under 16 you will not be able to eat at certain restaurants with them or board a plane ?

What about construction workers in that age group living outside of high priority areas required to work in Sydney LGA? There 50 to 60 cases reported there yesterday. I classify those workers high priority.

don't think a curfew will help much
the problem is the gathering in parks and exercising together we need more police presence blocking roads in Sydney and pulling up cars and checking licences and fining people outside of lga area without a valid reason

Yep..he has another booking for a 1st jab in September before this new release at Warwick Farm.. keeping it as it is outside the 21 days from tomorrow..see how that goes..

The place I work at is asking everyone to get vaccinated and I see why as they risk losing 1.6 million dollars if they have to close down due to COVID.

I get that but the staggering numbers in these areas suggest more drastic restrictions are required. I blame Gladys for not going harder earlier especially in the Eastern Suburbs.
