I have made my decision and Im happy with it. You will no doubt run your own risk/benefit analysis and you have come to the unvaxxed decision and that is fine for you but it has to be said that your decision is an easier decision **because 90% of the population** **made the other decision**.

Let's be clear, i'm vaxxed,
One other point i would like to make is this,
But let's use this analogy, let's relate vaccinated people to married people,

As you all know, of all the married people around the world there is a large number of those marriages who would be known to be as forced marriages.

Now, how many do you think of the 90%, 95% of the vaccinated people would be known as forced marriages? (forced vaccination).

Is this why you wanted downvotes removed? So you can post this nonsense?

Didn't you just say that you refused to employ a person because they were unvaxxed?
But you also talk about we don't force anyone it's their choice, and this and that.....

Then when i make an analogy about being forced to do it, you all turn into different type of people.
You are unbeleivable.

Yes I refused to employ them because he was unvaxxed, we work face to face with the hospitality industry and will lose business if we have unvaxxed employees, I didn't force him to be vaxxed, I can't afford to have him employed.

Mate you tried to make a comparison between forced marriage and "forced vaccination, people are at times threatened with death if they don't go through with a forced marriage. Your analogy was poor as there is no comparison between the two.

The mindset of some of you is truly unbelievable,
How do you think those feel who are unemployed and will not get employed because they don't feel it's safe for them to get vaxxed? Depression? Maybe suicide?

I can't afford to lose business by employing an unvaxxed person, we just went through a 4 month period when 95% of our business disappeared, if I employed an unvaxxed person it would be likely that everyone that works for us would be unemployed. How do you think all those employees would feel? Depressed?

So you people became outraged by me for just mentioning (not mocking) forced marriage in an analogy, then you go **off topic**, you supposedly show how much you care about those people who are in forced marriages.

But, when it comes to unemployed and unvaxxed people who are unemployable,
You seem to say, **stuff them**,
So in your crazy mindset some people(forced marriage) are regarded as people and some people (unvaxxed unemployed) are not people.
You are unbelievable

Where did I say stuff them? I need to worry about the jobs of the people we already employ, those jobs would be a good chance of ending if I employed an unvaxxed person.

I know a person in the hospitality industry that will not re open until restrictions are eased for the unvaxxed. He refuses to discriminate.

Then everyone that we employ would be out of a job, no if or buts about it. We lost 95% of revenue during the lockdown.

I guess not everyone can be like him. Money isn’t everything

So you are trying to imply I'm putting money over other factors?

If you could work without getting the vaccine, would you still get it?

I certainly wouldn't. I know too many people who have contracted COVID and still face ongoing health issues.

So do I @ willow. Also, a mother with a auto immune disease and she beat it at home with rest and vitamin c

Good for her, the people I know have not been so lucky and I wouldn't want to put myself in their shoes.

People still die with the vaccine and get very sick.

Chances of dying after being vaccinated reduce significantly, but I'm not going to bother having that conversation with you - you've got your stance on it, that's cool. I've got mine and can't wait to get my booster shot before Christmas.

Good luck to you. Hope you don’t get any of the side effects mate.

Didn't suffer any.

Don’t try and diminish what you wrote. You didn’t just mention forced marriages you used them as an analogy (similarity - a comparison between one thing and another) to people who had a choice to be vaccinated or not. There are light years between the two and are not comparable.

Unvaccinated people are not unemployable. That is just plain misinformation. There are certainly instances where employers require people to be vaccinated but that is not universal, at least not yet.

Unfortunately @mike you can't choose some facts and then ignore the other bits that go with it, it might work for you but it doesn't work in the real world.

I was with a client today and he told me his Uncle and his grandmother both recently died of COVID, in Sydney.

I come home to find my son in hospital..preliminary blood tests positive for blood clotting subsequent to his vaccine. Waiting on scans.

You cant win.....

Then the business goes broke and everyone else loses their job, jobs some of them have had for 15 years. That is the choice you would make?

And if the business goes bust as a result of doing what you suggest?

Mate, This is just endless nonsense, that began from what i thought was a fair and harmless analogy. So mate please enough of this nonsense.

It is not nonsense, we are really struggling coming out of covid as the lockdown hit us really hard. Probably 50% of our customers have returned at this point and I am trying to get our current employees back to full time hours as their government assistance ends this coming week. Approximately 50% of my returning customers have asked vaccination status of our on site staff. I need a new delivery driver who will be visiting venues across Greater Sydney, he needs to be vaxxed or he won't be allowed into these venues. I have just finished a 10 hour day doing the deliveries myself.

I look after our employees and genuinely care about their futures, part of the stress of my role is ensuring they have a job into the future. You want me to throw their futures out to give someone a job that will result in us losing revenue? Someone that is looking at the vaccination issue from a selfish point of view?

The only nonsense being sprouted is by you by comparing forced marriage with Covid vaccination. The fact you can’t backtrack from that analogy shows your lack of understanding and unwillingness to admit you misspoke. Businesses and society as a whole have a reason to feel hesitant employing or interacting with people who are unvaccinated. People have made their choice knowing the consequences so now they need to live with those choices. In time things will change but at the moment that’s just how it is and everyone has to deal with it.

I hear you are administering @Geo vaccine as well ..and at the rifle range as well ...your a good man Charlie Brown ....send some pics hey

Guys, listen, if you cared so much as you supposedly care so much and are passionate about those people who are in forced marriages (i care too) you would give the guy the job so please stop all your nonsense about caring for people.

Then the business goes broke and everyone else loses their job, jobs some of them have had for 15 years. That is the choice you would make?

The point i'm trying to make now is that you and the others made comments of being caring and passionate about those people in forced marriages (which was completely off topic)

And then putting me down for this by telling the forum how wrongful i was in making that analogy.

Not one but many of you put me down, but then even if i did make a mistake in my analogy, how the hell can you people claim that you are a people caring type of people when many of you came to attack me for what i thought was a harmless analogy.

And your contradictions in caring about those who are unemployed and unvaxxed are totally contradictory in comparision to other people.

What i have heard from you people today about caring for people is absolute garbage and pure nonsense.

I didn’t attack you or put you down, in fact, to date, I have been respectful while strongly disagreeing with you. Disagreeing with you is not attacking you.

I called out what you wrote, which you still haven’t retracted or apologised for, but instead try to defend or brush aside. The analogy wasn’t harmless, I found it quite offensive. It is a misrepresentation of real life situations.

Things aren’t always binary as you are trying to portray, they are not one thing and therefore must be the other.

Nothing I have written is contradictory, garbage or pure nonsense. You may view it as such, but it isn’t.
I suggest you may not really ‘hearing’ my responses at all.

I don’t agree with the analogy, but in my opinion people have been forced to be vaccinated as they can’t work or run business without it
That in itself is wrong in my view. It should be a free choice. Vaccination rates were extremely low before the government started shutting down businesses and stopping people working
