Could a performance like that influence a player to stay?

Maybe it's the euphoria after a horrendous week talking, but would Tedesco and Woods take tonight into account? Not just because we won, but because of the clear influence Cleary has come in and immediately implemented.
 
It's funny because I was thinking the same thing when Liddle scored that last try. I think if they turn up, play better and get another win next week maybe there may be second thoughts.
Tedesco is still in the doghouse in my eyes for his comments on C91 earlier in the week though.
 
I do .. Teddy looked more happier than woods though
The team song was great to watch and they looked relieved
 
I hope so . and you know what, it should too. If we can back it up that is. The reason being they are thinking of leaving based on perception. (teddy said himself that he sees the roosters and bulldogs as "always winners" whilst he sees the tigers as "always losers". These are perceptions and not fact.

Winning changes players, media and yep us fans perceptions more than any other single thing.

These guys need to believe they can win here, and beating the cowboys in townsville certainly wont hurt the belief.

You do realize that players just say what managers tell them

New coach has just arrived , make them think they might be leaving

You have to play the game , Tedesco realizes this more than anyone else the club tried to screw him over last time and he called their bluff

Do you realize that Tedesco last contract wasn't actually finalized until late September with the TPA's

Tedesco reportedly got in trouble with his manager after those comments he made.
 
Horses bolted, but don't despair when you see a no9 who is on basic money give so much, I really don't care where the fat contract boys go, there will be other kids who are jumping a the bit to get a go. What did our great coach say.. its all about the team
 
If they had played like after JT got the arse ..yes

Might need a few more wins yet .

No point stressing over it , what will be will be .
