The Aussies are there to be beaten. They're not playing as well as they did in the Ashes last yr. Johnson, up until the Indians opened their big mouths and pumped him up has looked lethargic.

Feel sorry for the Indian batsmen. They've been exceptional in this series. Can't be a good feeling constantly having to come out when the opposition have 500 on the board and their bowlers constantly allowing the opposition tail to wag and concede whatever advantage they have. They can't even contributed with the bat. Totally inept.

We have the best tail in world cricket. Over the years we have had batsmen like Waugh, Hussey, Clarke and Smith who believe in the tail and bat well with them.
Also we have bowlers that are capable of getting the opposition out cheaply. This quick scoring is when Australia takes the game away from the opposition before they know it.

It wasn't only Mitch getting hit around. The pitch has been road so far. Johnson didn't bowl badly. He has been a touch down in pace but has bowled with control and is fit. He did well getting that last wicket. At least he's not like the Indians they just gave up and spread the field when it was obvious there was nothing in the pitch. Hopefully this drop in wicket does start to wear so there is more of a contest between bat and ball.
The Indians did well. Should be another good test, just like the last two.

Predicting fireworks tomorrow. No point in India blocking for a draw when they're down 2-0\. Might as well go down swinging.

We need runs and quickly if we want the win and we aren't in any hurry

A draw here wins us the series. The Indians are going to have to go really hard here regardless so we had to cut their time right down - esp the way Vijay & Kohli are playing.
We've got the lame duck batsmen out already & we're certainly forcing opportunities.
