Do Australia dump Warner for 4th test and put Head at Opener.

Select both Marsh and Green in the side and play Green as a batter and fielder and let Marsh bowl more.

Warner's time has certainly come.

Stayed up till 3.30 am . MITCH YOU STAR ! WHAT A KNOCK
THE 2ND FASTEST HUNDRED BY AN AUSTRALIAN IN ENGLAND EVER !!!
I was with ya, beat hundred I’ve seen since……
Heads ton a couple of games back, who I thought batted really well, curbed his natural game when he seemed a bit out of sorts, and turned it over for Marsh. He is also noticeably maturing in his game, hopefully this continues. I also like his Mustache, he should keep it.
Great day and I reckon it’s about even?

I wouldn’t have taken Warner.
And I would not be moving Head, he has just cemented his place and his game ia going great, leave him, he also works well with Green and the tail. Replace Warner with an opener.
To many all rounders in a team is not as great as it sounds. As soon as Green is fit he’s in.
But this is the beauty of having depth in your roster, a bloke comes in for an injury and performs. Tigers should take note.

Had not thought of that, has merit. Although with Warner saying his last test is at the SCG, I think they will keep him till than, also Head is a perfect player for the middle order

Mitch Marsh seems like a top bloke to be around, quite obvious he's a favourite amongst the other teammates. I'm happy he got runs and even picked up a wicket, last time he was in the squad 4 years ago he made a comment that "All of Australia hates me" (he was constantly getting picked without really performing), serious or not I found that kind of sad, good on ya big fella

Yeah I’ve never hated him, Shaun on the other hand?
Only joking Shaun. 😜

That innings from Wood shows how serious the Poms are taking this series. Miles behind, Wood comes in and slashes a few, knowing full well he only had a short shelf life. Gets out and the Pommie commentators are patting him on the back and Stokes punches gloves with him on the way off. These guys have no idea.

They are taking it seriously, their tactics are garbage though.
If we pick up our fielding and the top order hang in there for longer, we’ll comfortably win this game.

Don’t agree with the dismissal. I think it’s a cheap shot that stinks of desperation. This is why most other teams hate the Australian cricket team, arrogant! Even when u mancat your meant to give the a warning first, and the batsman are deliberately trying to take an advantage. So with this dismissal at the end of an over it’s a low blow, no advantage was tried to be taken, not batting out of his crease! He should of given him a warning first, then it’s up for grabs. It’s like the underarm bowl, yes it’s in the rules but not in the spirit of the game!!
If the poms did that to us, we’d be blowing up deluxe…
100% wrong. There is no requirement to give a warning for a "Mankad" dismissal (which is now just known as a run out after a recent review of the rules).

If it happened to us we would be heaping shit on the batsman responsible for losing their wicket in such a stupid manner.

I thought I was in the majority but seems like I'm in the minority with this opinion. I think if any of the following occur such as keeper in control of the ball, umpire calling over or batsman tapping his bat or foot in the crease, it's a deadball.

You're of course free to have this opinion. The rules of the game (and both on and off-field umpires officiating during the second test) do not agree with it.

Simon Taufel knows more about this than anyone:

Finally got the tonker out.
Fair dinkum this prick Stokes is the luckiest batter in the game.
Close your eyes and swing…at everything.
Anyway, we have a lead…a pissweak lead, but we do have one. That’s amazing given our poor first innings total.
Need to knuckle down this time round. We can afford to bat for 6 sessions here and still win.

How many times is the bloke going to give himself out same way same bowler, what an embarrassment. As bad as Atherton trying to play McGrath, except Pigeon was twice the bowler Stuart Broad is.
