Dropping Konstas and keeping Marnus is a mistake
Also think they got carried away with debutants
Konstas ,Webster ,Inglis all successes
Think with Connolly they went one baggy green too far
This test Head has bowled 17 overs ,Connolly 3 overs and his batting technique was like the 20th over of BBL
 
Whenever we beat the bat it also beats Carey
So many byes and even balls thru his legs and one hit the helmut costing 5 runs

I must have seen one of them, but I checked it out, 4 byes in both innings. That’s not too bad. He has an unusual technique at times.

Connolly has only played 3 shield games. He got 90 on debut, then 79 and 30, didn’t play for a few games, and then he got a 55 in a game they won. They said he has scored runs at every level he’s progressed through, (like Konstas), but the shield games he scored runs in, others in the team have also scored. He has no, as in, zero, shield wickets. So calling him and all rounder at this level is a stretch. He’s just come off a successful BBL season and you can tell. He has some talent with the bat for sure, and I was interested to see how he finished his first shield season, but obviously the selection panel think he’s ready.
Some different/strange decisions being made around the younger players. I just can’t understand the dropping of Sam and the continued selection of Marnus. You would think they would be looking to get some stability around the number 3 position, the position you are supposed to be playing your best bat, before the GF? Are they preying Marnus is going to be able to see again?

That’s the scores sheets for the last ten times Marnus was at the crease.
 
SL 10th wicket in 1st innings 33 runs
10th wicket in 2nd innings 14 runs
As usual we struggle a little bit to get the last one
However the man from Tassie comes on and wraps it up in just 1 ball
Pretty good match by Webster
4 catches 2 wickets and 31 runs
 
Hopefully Marnus hiting 26 not out in our big win does NOT guarantee him his spot in the test team.He has been poor for a long time now and surely enough is enough
 
I hope Marnus getting 26 not out in this run chase not under pressure
Doesn't confuse our selectors
They already have headaches

Good side SC except not sure if Smudge right for 3 against SA quicks, but then again, I can’t really offer an alternative at present .
