Aren't the C-town folk usually the ones with the conspiracy theories?
I heard 8K and if thats true then thats pretty weak. 2nd on the ladder, Sunday arvo at Leichhardt being built as the mecca, and only 8K? weak.
If that was C-town the pitch forks would be out.

Wonder if Mayer will come out and dress down the Inner city fans for the poor turnout. Maybe ask why only half the people from 3 weeks ago turned up and threaten to take the team away from Leichhardt. I won't hold my breath though

If this thread degenerates into the usual Balmain V Wests crap, it will be deleted. The weather was poor and so was the crowd. I was still hoping for around 12k today though.

Not sure if anyone else had any problems but my membership card wouldn't read when I entered the game, nor did any of my families cards. Wonder if this resulted in us not being counted?

We just have to accept that with only 9500 members we can only realistically expect 6-8000 fans definitely showing up at either home grounds. Obviously there was more Manly fans at the last LO game the we gave credit for.

In SMH it said the average crowd for the last 3 years leichhardt,14,279,campbo 13,256,so all the song and dance about the poor crowd last week are not really relevant.
