Aren't the C-town folk usually the ones with the conspiracy theories?

I heard 8K and if thats true then thats pretty weak. 2nd on the ladder, Sunday arvo at Leichhardt being built as the mecca, and only 8K? weak.

If that was C-town the pitch forks would be out.

I miss not being part of the C-Town crowd. Stupid move to QLD
It takes the same time to get to the other side of Leumeah station as it does to get down from Level 7 of ANZ carpark

From GM's twitter.

For all. Cards that don't scan are ushered in and still appear in count under USHER. Thanks for advising though. Something for Proticket,

I was at the Manly game and todays game too, and there was no way a 7,000 difference in the crowd numbers between the two games. I have no motive to suggest otherwise, and all the people around us were disputing it when it came up on the screen.

So take it you haven't been to CSS since they've put the new overpass in.

Love seeing all the solutions to the poor numbers at both the latest boutique games so far

Just fix this mess Mayer and do it now

8 games at the concrete cemetery

2 at LO

2 at CSS

Or if that doesn't suit

8 games at the concrete cemetery

4 Games in CQ (preferably at Marley Brown Oval )

Obviously they didn't count the spirits this time at our spiritual home. :astonished:

The ground looked shoody today. Siren issues last game slow paddock.

Not up to NRL standard.

Looking forward to going home to Homebush.

12 games at ANZ with a guarantee of $200k each game and revenue split if crowd above 25,000… Thats 2.4 m in the bank

Being at the game. I thought it was around 10k. No where near 14k. If the club said 8k it would believe them. Our days are limited at leichhardt and campbelltown

So you think that was less than half full today???It holds 22k so where would you put the 12k that we needed to add to your 10k. Grandstands both full, seats in front of stands full and hill atleast over 70 % full.

I know you think there was 14,000 there today, but there wasn't. You need to accept it for what it is and move on.

I will move on when you atleast admit that it was more than half full?

ok it was half full - but only if you admit there was 15k at the cowboys game.

Well I can tell you their were 7 of us at the Manly game and none of us were their today
1- Overseas as holiday of 2 long weekends
1- 40th Birthday long weekend away for a mate
1- Has his young one this weekend and couldn't get across with him for this game in the rain
3- At Wests Ashfield Leagues club warm, dry and with cheap beer watching on the big screen after getting colds last time standing in the bloody rain
1- Manly supporter

These are just an example but the reality is today was always going to be hard to draw a crowd for a number of reasons much like the Cowboys game at Campbelltown.

I was going to go and yada yada yada I didn't get there

yeah maybe I'm trolling but I am so peeved at all the excuses over todays crowd when everyone was so keen to bag Campbelltown - if Mayer has any balls he will limit both grounds to 2 games each and move to ANZ so this club can grow.

Crowd figures at LO are just a best guess but I also think they got it wrong yesterday. I would have a touch over 10k. Also thought the crowd at Campbelltown was bigger than they said as well.

I know other clubs bump up the crowd figures, and these clubs also get creative with their membership numbers as well. I think the Tigers are a bit too honest/conservative at times with theirs.

Crowd was no more than 10k so forget all the conspiracy theories. As for WT advertising '6k tickets left', classic fear of loss marketing tactics. They probably had 12k left at that time and didn't sell many on the day

Its not trolling, its a fact. If that was C-town yesterday, people would be tearing it a new arse saying Leichhardt would have been a sellout.

Also pretty weak of Mayer not to come out and criticize the crowd after he didn't hesitate after the Cowboys game. Points the finger at one section for a poor crowd, then 2 weeks later, at a ground in a time slot that sells itself as a spiritual experience, only draws 2000 more and Mayer says nothing. And people wonder why this club pushes some supporters way.

Watching on TV, the crowd didn't look bad. I was expecting 12k to be announced. But then, it is always hard to judge the crowd on the hill. If people are standing, you can't see the gaps between and behind.

If this thread degenerates into the usual Balmain V Wests crap, it will be deleted. The weather was poor and so was the crowd. I was still hoping for around 12k today though.

You take a very noble stand willow but isnt the question of where the hell is Mayer this morning jumping up and down threatening the livelihood of leichhardt as he so often does campbelltown the question on everyones lips this morning. The elephant in the room if you like.Top of the table clash too.I dont consider it Balmain vs Wests as I am former Balmain but the pin drop silence of Mayer this morning compared to his threats of nuclear bombing campbelltown is a little worrying.
