If Mayer wants to be consistent he should be asking where half the people from 3 weeks ago were. You can't point the finger at one section of supporters for a shocking crowd then turn a blind eye 2 weeks later to another section. Its things like this that frustrate and push people away from the club.

Well I can tell you their were 7 of us at the Manly game and none of us were their today
1- Overseas as holiday of 2 long weekends
1- 40th Birthday long weekend away for a mate
1- Has his young one this weekend and couldn't get across with him for this game in the rain
3- At Wests Ashfield Leagues club warm, dry and with cheap beer watching on the big screen after getting colds last time standing in the bloody rain
1- Manly supporter

These are just an example but the reality is today was always going to be hard to draw a crowd for a number of reasons much like the Cowboys game at Campbelltown.

Well the grandstand was only 3/4 full. Heaps of empty seats.

Also heaps of empty seats on the surrounding seating.

The hill still had plenty of room to walk around with ease.

And I don't think tha capacity is 22k more like 20.

Club statement on saturday reckons only 6000 tickets left

If we go with a capacity of 20000, that means they were looking at 14k yesterday so apparently 6000 didnt show due to weather and other things

Thats an interesting statement.

I think people might need to consider that something is not adding up.

Leichhardt does not hold 22,000 - Max. is 20,000.

There were seats in the grandstand, plenty of standing room along the walkway in front of the stand.
Ample room at both ends behind the goal posts and the hill wasn't half full.

9,000 would be correct. There is no conspiracy - that was the crowd. Some you win - some you lose.

Don't mean to add fuel to the fire…I was at the Manly game and there today...there is no way there was 7,000 more at the Manly game.

I find it hard to believe 5k odd didnt show up on the day, it sounds very similar to the NQ Cambo game…people then reckoned 10k there and the club posts 6.5k thereabouts

I was there with 6 people. None of us thought there were over 10,000\. I'm sure some people on here don't believe Neil Armstrong ever walked on the moon.

It was a poor crowd. No hiding that. Games at Leichhardt work like an "event" these days. Two games here in 4 weeks and I feared they would get a rubbish crowd today. Weather would have turned away a lot. However still a very poor turnout.

Looked around 10K, like Ctown looked about 8-9K a few weeks ago.

My gut feeling were on the move full time to ANZ. Im not saying they are deliberately downplaying the crowd, however it would easy any potential fall out.

Not sure if anyone else had any problems but my membership card wouldn't read when I entered the game, nor did any of my families cards. Wonder if this resulted in us not being counted?

Yes, had a similar problem, but they scanned our membership passes twice.

We won't have these issues when we move to ANZ.

My adult passes didn't scan today and she waved us through so we were not counted. In saying that the junior cards aren't scanning at ANZ. The club said after the first occasion it was a known issue but didn't know where fault was. They are getting back to me…...........
